Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

Section 75 is one of the nice consumer friendly protections which, if loans were invented today, would never in a million years be passed into law Possibly, possibly not. The government has legislated to reimburse all victims of payment fraud, no matter how many warnings they ignore from their bank...

Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

If a product didn't turn up, that would come under a chargeback claim. You can dispute payments made in the previous 120 days (some times longer) and is designed for items not turning up or being faulty; although this link suggests services (like flights or concerts) have a 540 day window (starting...

Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

Buying anything worth more than £100 on debit card is stupid. If it never turns up, or the company goes bust, a credit card company just gives you the money back no questions asked. Martin Lewis' very existence clearly still passing millions by. People are stupid. I know an accountant who bought a ...

Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

I'm sure lots of people are holding off in case it all goes tits up, I'm not that confident the Royals will be lining up in August if Dai is still in charge and they would say that anyway wouldn't they? I mean the marketing dept wouldn't send out a reminder to get your ST caveated by administration...

Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

I've had a reminder to renew my season ticket, probably to help pay the wage bill. Presumably there's a few million pounds from the ST sales that could fall on either side of the deal, is Dai stalling until the deadline? I was mildly intrigued by the wording on the email, particularly "one thi...

Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

Not sure where to put this but kiss bye bye to the Football Regulator for quite a while, now that the election has been called.

The Bill to bring it in gets scrapped. Would have to start again from scratch post election, competing with every other priority of new government.

Re: Embargos, HMRC Payment defaults, non payment of wages, the usual under Dai Wrongge

WTF did we agree to something that wasn't allowed. Clowns the lot of them. If it makes you feel any better, the same redacted documents revealed that we do in fact have a 10% sell-on for transfer profit in regards to Olise. Havent we heard form official sources, i.e. Howe or some other, such as Sel...

Re: Champions League, Europa League & Europa Conference League 23/24

Bayern didnt lose that because Tuchel took off Kane. They lost because Neuer lost concentration and spilled the ball. If he scoops that like normal, another long punt up front and another chance for defence to be reset. The shot from Madrid that led to the 1st goal was a sign of a team resorting to...

Re: Ovie Ejaria

I'd imagine he's training with the u21s who are still in action in the play-offs. Undeniable ability on the ball, but a total enigma and I doubt he's under serious consideration. Having said that, Ruben may have seen something in him and might want to offer him something without the baggage of prev...

Re: VAR

Fresh from watching two pulsating Champions League semi finals were VAR wasn't used once, despite numerous goals, and penalties awarded...... We move on to Chelsea vs Spurs, where Chelsea score a goal, that is so obviously not offside, the VAR just sits there for a while, as we all stare at a screen...

Re: RFC Flip Flops

Useless. Wore them for one day pottering in the garden, already falling apart. Bought them during the days of the training ground sell off crisis, doing my bit to put some £££s in the clubs current account. Would not buy again. Anyone else bought some club tat that is awful? The pint glass works we...

Re: Football Rel8d Gripes

Pundits trying to be polite and professional about teams who are as good as relegated due to GD, by pretending they are almost down but have an outside chance of staying up. Huddersfield need a 15 goal swing in order to stay up. Just say they are down ffs! if Reading had put 8 past Derby we would h...

Most league games won in the last 50 seasons 1.Manchester Utd - 1084 2.Liverpool - 1065 3.Arsenal - 1001 4.Manchester City - 926 5.Chelsea - 919 6.Ipswich - 893 7.Reading - 887 I saw that. Probably means that until 3 or 4 years ago we were in 4th place. I did think during my childhood experiences i...

Re: Champions League, Europa League & Europa Conference League 23/24

Top corner is unsavable but also maximum risk of row Z. That being said, I am surprised that professional footballers can't reliably find it. We're talking about the top 0.5% in terms of talent who are paid to practice. Surely any pro should be capable of leathering it into the top corner from 12 y...
