An utterly pointless 'service', especially if you have access to the internet (which you clearly do...)

Scarface Exactly why he'll probably leave us. West Ham will finish above us next season, they certainly have more ambition.

As long as nobody gets injured it doesn't really matter; though I predict Seol will tear them apart.

If he's playing.

Re: John Madejski

Gordons Cumming I know something interesting about John Madejski that no-one on this board or in the entirety of Reading knows,.........almost.

MY HERO.

Chaney can Lita leave on a free?..not sure, he will still be under 24 then

He would just about be under 24 by 5-6 months. But what paltry amount would we be awarded for him leaving? It would be paltry!

Thank God the people running Reading FC are not as thick as you.

Which would cause huge problems if Sheff Utd and West Ham were to swap places. I see this as a reason why the FA/Prem couldn't possibly reverse the relegation. Correct - they'd need to change all South Yorkshire and all London clubs, which would effectively mean starting from scratch. IIRC, once of...

Behindu Interesting stuff Dirk !

Is there any policy regarding
1. Home and away games at the start / end of the season
2. long distance travelling on certain days
3. Balance between seasons (ie home on day 1 one year / away the next ./ Boxing Day games)

Experience says "no".

there is nothing wrong with the ability of our current crop of players, I don't think the England players are actually as good as the English media likes to portray them. They'd like to think that they are, the media and the fans would like to think that they are but given the years of the side not...

Nope - as with all UEFA run competitions, it's head to head first then GD. Has it always been like this? If so, that's totally crap, GD should come first. Then it just becomes "Who can score the most goals against Andorra?" which is a somewhat flawed way of deciding which team is better.

Seol s a cracking little player who can play anywhere along our front line. The comments in that report sound a bit like him feeling a bit down and chatting to somebody about it - then all of a sudden it's all over the British press who naturally blow it out of all proportion and we get enraged keyb...

Might I suggest that anybody who is offended by the club arranging this friendly stay at home and wait, say, a week for the Premiership to start.

This is one of the least important things in the world to get annoyed about.

But I think the point is that they were the fifth best team in England at the time and that, even more than usual, blows the European CHAMPIONS League concept out of the water. The name of the competition is completely irrelevant. They only called it that because they thought it sounded cool anyway.

It's only just been started but the argument is whether he or Jones (Schwarzer's deputy at Boro) is the better keeper. One of the posters has the nerve to suggest that young Fed is fat and therefore slow at getting to the ball, another says that Federici proved himself against Man U. One charmer re...

Scotsman in wanting-to-play-for-Celtic-or-Rangers shocker. It's what Jocks grow up wanting to do isn't it, so no surprise that this no-mark shows the traditional lack of ambition. Only a Scotsman would consider that playing for either of those teams is anywhere near as testing or rewarding as playin...

Pretty straightforward this year I think; Wigan won't win in Sheffield, thus becoming the richest club in the Championship. Wonder if they can hold on to their stars, like Heskey.

I clapped him. I decided in advance that I would regardless of whether I was the only Reading fan that did. Fortunately, most other fans were like-minded which says alot about this club and its fans because, despite what one poster said, I believe that many clubs would not have clapped Owen. I clap...
