How does the decision to go to 107 help to "Spread The Word"?

It seems to me that if RFC wants to become a major regional club (eg: not just within the confines of Greater Reading) then surely having BBCRB do the commentaries is one method of helping to achieve that?

Sidwell has been honest and open, If he goes good luck to him, If he stays thats great news. If Kitson was to do a Pardew or McGhee and pledge his loyalty to the club and the fans only to leave the next day/week things would be different. See, thats the sort of keyboard warrior typing that really p...

Perhaps this year it should be taken in the Jazz Cafe or the bar of one of the players locals. Then they could all lounge about leaning on posts and stools and looking like male fashion catalogue models from the 1970s/1980s. :D Or in fancy dress; perhaps as Roman centurions about to go into battle,...

The problem comes where the players see ALL fans who post on forum's such as this as "the enemy"; a few years ago we had the whole furore surrounding the (alleged) reasons behind Curo's departure from Bristol Rovers aired on here.....as a result, at least one regular poster on here was told by the t...

If we're going to include the Premiership royalties, etc., then the question still stands. If we weren't planning to increase the squad with new signings , why did the fans have to suffer such an increase in ticket prices when Sky, etc are providing a more substantial revenue stream to the club? I ...

Failing that, maybe I will be one of those 'traditionalists' who turns their back on the new brand RFC in favour of a smaller club where real supporters are still valued and not just on the basis of how much they are prepared to pay. what's new exactly? Yes, the prices are high, but did anyone expe...

Hasn't taken long for all of our resident doom mongers to come out of the woodwork has it?? I can hear the echoes of last season already..... "we are going to plummet...." "prove you have ambition Mr Mad and spend £10M before the end of the August transfer window...." etc etc etc    S...

Surely the point of the AST (it should be renamed as it isn't, in fact, a ticket!) is that those of us who have applied have COMMITTED to purchasing a ticket for EVERY away game, regardless of changes for TV, if they are in Newcastle mid-week or whatever. Unlike last season, where you could return 3...

At Sheff Utd, Colin is behaving like a chav who has won the lottery in a spend, spend, SPEND!!! mentality that appears bereft of any serious thought as to who or what he needs, and that the more players on the books, the more chance he has of putting together a team that will produce the goods. It i...

Germany for me; I think the way they have hosted the tournament, and the almost non-stop accolades from England fans out there saying how friendly the locals were etc etc etc... .....one thing that annoys me; I was going to have £50 e/w on France at 12's, but didn't pull my finger out so missed the ...

The question about Kits (or Leroy) for England is simple; will McClaren look at new options, or will he stick with fundamentally the same squad as before? If he IS open to new players being given a chance, and Kits and Leroy start well, then there would have been every chance that they may have got ...

Speculation -

1. NONE of the players mentioned in the last two pages will be at Reading.

2. The players that DO come in would not have been mentioned by anyone, anywhere.

Super_horns This is like one of the many threads during the summer on our board about how rubbish the signings were and Adie was a bad appointement etc....

I guess there is nothing better than being proven wrong for the right reasons!

True - but they ARE bl**dy funny aren't they???
