Re: Jimmy Kebe

Kebe Love,
My Kebe Love,
You missed again,
Oh how you missed my love,
But all you do is play so bad
Break my heart and make me sad
Don't give the ball away
Any chance you could score today?

Re: If they were leaving....

They've got to be match fit to get a decent price for them...that said, on last season's performances, i'd be surprised if any of the top flight came in with £5m+ for any of them. They're good, but they ain't that good!

Re: Dave Kitson Tribute Thread

Goodbye our flame-haired attacker,
At Bradford you scored quite a cracker,
The hat-trick against Gills,
Gave the Loyal Royals thrills,
Not bad for a former shelf-stacker.

**bows**

I thank you.

Re: Rumour - Kitson to Wigan/Stoke

£5.5m... in the pocket now? No performance based add-ons? Stoke don't have to stay up?

Not a bad price really, considering his age & experience. I want to see £3.5m of that go on two newbies in the next week or so... but you don't always get what you want.

Re: Rumour - Kitson to Wigan/Stoke

Its reasonable to expect 40-50% of the initial fee to go on a replacement... he's gonna have to do something. As of tomorrow we're going to have the shortest collective set of forwards in the country...

Re: Targets of the Boo boys....

I always thought that John Halls was f**king appalling. Fortunately he very rarely played, but I could Boo the man all day long. The Darlington cup game summed him up perfectly.

My mate Dave swears we only signed him to spite Southampton. ;)

Maybe we could solve our 4th striker problem by taking Simon Cox on loan???

Club Vs Country

I'm ASHAMED that Terry/Lampard can get so worked up about beating Reading away, picking up £££s in the process...yet representing their country has seen them produce so many lacklustre performances. Having seen NOTW comments that Chelsea's English players were labelled 'disgraces' by the Royals f...

He was definitely at the game as he drove past me on Shooters way bout 45 mins before kick off...me and me mate wondered why he was getting there so late! Must have been a late decision not to play him injured or not as there was no indication during the week, but I agree that he's not been firing o...

I've heard from a WAG that the decision is purely financially based. Why do a job in one place, when you can earn more doing the same job in another? He's got a young family and he's at the height of his earning potential. Also, he wants to play for England, a feat he doesn't think is achievable at ...

2. Lee Hodges (He's Lee Hodges!) Oy you! Want to say that outside? Lee may not have been the world's greatest player, but he's streets ahead of some named already. He spend most of his time played out of position, and he always gave his all - I won't hear a word said against him. Are you sure he wa...

Top three (in no particular order):

1. Robert Fleck (rubbish, and went and applauded the away fans last game at Elm Park!)
2. Lee Hodges (He's Lee Hodges!)
3. John Halls (Sneaks in as Peter Mate is currently injured!)

and Scott Murray didn't exactly set the place alight did he?!?

Kits should be alright in the Prem, but probably won't score more than 15, just because of the step up in quality of the defenders. My main concerns about players in the Prem are Blakey and Murts, both technically alright, but not the quickest I've ever seen, and pace gets more and more important th...
