SpaceCruiser We are not so desperate to sell as we are not a selling club. So whatever the offer is, I'd imagine that Reading will not sell certain players.

Depends on who comes asking.

RobRoyal Surely the real issue is, if and when bids come in, do players like Shorey and Doyle want to stay at the club or jump ship?

RobRoyal With (supposedly) £50m odd coming in for each premiership season, why would we risk our slice of the pie by selling two of our better players, even for a combined £20m? It's not easy to find replacements for their level of talent for a club like us, and then you have all the extra problems of settling new players in etc.
Surely the real issue is, if and when bids come in, do players like Shorey and Doyle want to stay at the club or jump ship? It's only when we have wantaway players that selling becomes at all in our interests.
