All well and good saying it now I know, but Mooney should have taken it. If you have seen some of his spot kicks for Cork this season then you will agree

If you look at it, simply just as a spot kick, he hammered it as high as he could.

12 yards out, it ended up 3 or 4 yards over the bar !

Sorry I don’t except that as bad luck, especially as a shite or bust penalty i.e the last of 10

Judging by Coppells body language to Lita's penalty miss, and the non to bothered attitude afterwards by Lita i would say that is the last time we see him in a Reading shirt, its an awful thing to say that a player from the team you love and support may have missed it on purpose, but it sure looked that way, guess that was Leroy's "Fook You" to Coppell, Reading and sadly to us fans.

I could of course be wrong..................

Bring back Goater. At least he could score a penalty.

yawwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwn

Predictable.

The guy we love to hate misses a crucial penalty and all of a sudden he's not only the worst player ever, but did it on purpose to piss off Coppell and Reading fans.

Gotta go, there's a pig flying outside my window.

That's a good point, although if he had of missed it the result would of been around his neck.

I prefer to concentrate on Lita.

I've just watched it again, he couldn't of scouped it higher

SymonsO It is however a sad reflection on any player when his own fans question his integrity in that situation.

Maybe its a sad reflection on the fans.

You could be right. There definitely seem to be a lot of conspiracy theories concerning Leroy. Whether there is any truth to them is anyone's guess.

One thing is certain if he'd just score goals instead of miss them these theories would go away as quick as a flash...

The only redeeming thing was that the Stoke miss was worse.

I've just got in from the local, and only saw the P.K so I wasn't at the game, but I've just had this discussion with 3 mates in the pub.

The more you see it, the more you think that he leathered that as hard as he could. If you see his body shape when foot hits ball there's no way he intended anything other than to blast that ball as far as he could over the bar.

He's not getting games, he doesn't wanna play for us.

I'm not one for conspiracy theories, but I think that tonight was telling.

If he's gonna spit the dummy because he's not playing, then sack him off.

I suppose we are a bit over-reacting. Leroy Lita paranoia at HNA has reached new heights.

What utter nonsense.

He missed. We're out. Get over it.
