Why not? With our rich vein of form, I am sure that we can make it! :|

There's nothing in our season long efforts to suggest this would happen, however the division is getting so cramped up there's a chance it could happen if we continue our current form

I'd settle for 21st though TBF

I've been saying that since the second game of the season, at Newcastle.

If we beat Palace next Wednesday we are out of the relegation places, simple as, because they have no game this weekend.

I just looked at the table before the Barnsley game and were 18 points off the play offs then, so with just three consecutive wins we have narrowed the gap by 7 points - astounding really.

Miracles do happen and if Plymoth, Peterborough and ourselves win a few games against the teams in the top half then anything could happen. Looks like it might only take high 60's in terms of points to get into the play offs this year rather than the normal 74 points.

12 wins from 17 games may just be enough but that is a very tall order and extremely unlikely.

This is EXACTLY the sort of over-reaction that gets me going!!! Jeez - we have scraped past 3 God-awful teams and come out with wins, but to suggest we are play-off hopefuls as a result is just mad.

Just take each game as it comes. (insert other cliches here)

Yeah. I commented on the bunched-up state of the table between the relegation and play-off zones on 107 after the game ... and it actually looks possible, despite other important wins last night. Weird.

Clearly not likely as Mr Angry notes, but possible, so we should be motivated to string a few together and see where it gets us ... rather than just a dog fight to avoid the 3rd relegation place .... this is going to be roller-coaster right to the end of the season I'm guessing.

This has got to be the worse Chamionship in a long time there are some terrible teams above us.

Bristol CIty six points ahead and they are terrible.

There is always a team that makes a late late run to sneak into the PO's and another team that sinks like a stone - contrasting futures for Reading and QPR?

The thought of going up with this team is quite frightening actually.

I was saying that it is UNLIKELY but the fact is that 12 wins could take us to the fringe of the play offs. Can we win 12 - again unlikely but POSSIBLE as we do have 7 or 8 winnable home games left and our away form is quite good.

From what I have seen this season we are as good as any teams outside the top 5 - who seem slightly better than the rest. Any team can go on a good run in this division and if confidence rises anything can happen. It may not be us but it is quite probable that a team will go on a good run this season from the bottom to near the top. Derby and Sheff Wed are also on good runs at present so it could be one of them.

pLOLay-offs

You do realise we're in the relegation zone, right? Might want to concentrate on getting out of that before worrying about anything else.

To be fair CMR meant no league game - but I'm sure you knew that
