cheeryoleary Anyone planning on walking due to the hike in bus prices? It's good exercise.

It'd save quite a bit of money.

how much si the bus now?

say £3 x 19 = something like £60 over the space of a season.

Fair amount of money. All saved for just 40 minutes of walking

Im beginning to find you quite funny. Saving money on bus fares but wanting beer before a game.

Some excellent suggestions on here. Hobnob at its best. I chose a mix of number six bus and a bit of a walk. Apart from some loud idiots on the way back, went very well.

Mind you something looked like it was about to kick off near House of Fraser. Loads of blokes josling and looking like they wanted a fight.

The loud idiots on the number six bus went a bit quiet when they saw them which was kind of amusing.

But 40 minutes x 19 is a lot of walking.
