What was the first ever game in the top 5 English leagues to not have a single away fan attending?

I'd suggest it was back in the 80s and involved a game at Kenilworth Road, probably Luton's next scheduled home game AFTER Millwall visited in March 1985.

Was the lack of folk due to an unusual circumstance or just through lack of popularity?

Top 5 divs includes some pretty small teams. I am going to say somewhere just after it becoming one big league rather than regionalised as there will be some small team at one end of the country who has no fans going to the other end

Coventry City v Birmingham in the FA Cup 4th round 2019/20.

Coventry were groundsharing with Birmingham at the time.

Although having said that, I'm pretty sure Wimbledon and Palace were in the same division when they groundshared in the 90s, Likewise Charlton.

All wrong

Infact nobody is close

I made a maths error with my clues   so let's revisit them

Clues are:

1) the match took place in the last 15 seasons

2) the match took place within the top 5 divisions of English football

3) the match took place between 2 teams, 1 of which was promoted out of that division within the last 5 years

EXTRA CLUES

4) one of the teams are no longer in the division the match took place in and have been relegated multiple times

Good try but incorrect

They had paying away fans, this game had literally 0 away fans paying or Watching

Actually is it something to do with franchises - MK Dons vs AFC Wimbledon?
