readingbedding Arseshaving's move to the Arse has collapsed.

Good....he is a very good player but its not what Arsenal need, they need somebody with a bit of grit behind them that can fly into tackles and not worry bout getting hurt

cmonurz LOL if it is more than £20m, and Spurs have sold and re-signed two of their strikers for a net loss in the space of months.

Well Liverpool owe £11 million on the deal, so it all depends.

...and he can't fly home. The whole deal could change yet.

Apparently it's all down to Zenit wanting 18m up front and Arsenal wanting to pay £12m plus £3m instead.

Quality player like that and he wants to sign, and they haggle over a few million!

It's called sound financial management and not committing to spend money you've not got. You should try it.....

daswonder Quaresma, hes not played much since his move due to the fact Mourinho has switched from 4-3-3, to 4-3-1-2

Voted worst player in Serie A last season, so no surprise

If they extend the deadline then it takes the piss IMO - all clubs have had a month to sort things out so if they've left their dealings to the last minute then it's tough shit as far as I'm concerned.

bbc Roque Santa Cruz is at the Lowry Hotel in Manchester. He really should check out the nearby Imperial War Museum. Excellent.

The Lowry Hotel is in the city centre, idiots, but nice try.

Keane says he expects to sign for Spurs shortly. Liverpool still staying tght lipped.

Spurs second choice striker would be Saviola, but if they get Keane, Saviola is expected to be in talks with Liverpool.

Alan Gow (who was on loan at Blackpool and who Wolves rejected on a permanent deal cos of concerns over an injury) has joined Norwich on loan from Rangers till the end of the season.

Wolves sign Cristophe Berra (is that right?) from Hearts. Defender.
