Four Of Clubs Leaves them 2nd bottom - and pondering if they have avoided the drop- need to be 5th worst or better of the 16 Step05 clubs finishing in that position.
....seems a tad convoluted to me and not necessarily confirmed as being applied to that criteria -
- might well be some 'demotions' in play - voluntary or imposed - on finance or grading.... regardless of this 'ineligibility' points deduction thing being mooted?

I haven't checked across all the other leagues yet but to end up as one of the 4 worst finishers seems a bit grim.... I'm sure they'd be better off on PPG than the Wessex & Hellenic equivalents for example?
EDIT ...Pagham won their final game this evening on a quite sensational round of games elsewhere in the Wessex Prem (more later on that) .. and go above Windsor on the PPG calculation.... :?

Windsor do appear to have an inferior record to the CCL-PS 'candidates' too, unless Banstead lose both their remaining games?

Must admit, I thought it was the best 4 who survived, not the worst 4 who went down.

Royals and Racers
Four Of Clubs
Royals and Racers Sandhurst away at Brook House tonight is Postponed- now on Thursday 27th at Chalfont St Peter.

...and Brook House have brought forward their May B/H fixture (A v Cove) to Sat 29th Apr -
- which means they could now be playing Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri and Sat to complete the season!

...the weather may have a say in that, not to mention availability -

Aldermaston's game tonight vs Penn & Tylers is OFF - home side cannot raise an 11 - but they are due to play tomorrow (Tue) at Scours v Woodley then Thu H v Bagshot - on current trends that one might be a waiting game .... to see who cries off first!! 8)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
...and not all of the PO line-ups have been settled yet - particularly the STEP04/05 relegation one's - so I doubt they'll be found in one place.
- the STEP06 promotion POs aren't entirely set either - with more regulation league games taking place this/next week before the scheduled PO dates this coming w/e. CCL have over 50 games outstanding I believe and a fair number would affect the upper and lower reaches??
Hellenic Div One Final is this Friday
- S-Fs this week - tomorrow (Tue) I think?
Hartpury v Stratford
Milton v Clanfield
Some match at Milton. Home team 2-0 up at HT then 3-2 down until they get a pen on 99 mins. Penalty hit the bar and lino said it crossed the line. Milton won 3-2 on pens. They will play Hartpury who won 4-0
Milton away to Hartpury on Friday 28th April KO 7.45pm
What happened in the Wessex League Premier Division was incredible last night. 4 teams finishing on plus 90 points and bottom of that pile is money bags AFC Portchester. Wobbling of late and then get turned over by Bemerton of all teams to grab that 2nd place. Brett Pitman was on a reported £2k a week! Chairman is going to be hurting this morning and wondered what he spent his money on. Horndean win the league and promoted. Looking forward to seeing Southern League Teams rock up at that ground next season.
Bracknell beat Chesham 1-0 and will meet Truro City in the playoff final after Truro beat Poole 4-1 on penalties after a 1-1 draw. Bracknell’s record against Truro is fairly shocking having lost every game they’ve ever played against them but what a game it would be to finally put an end to that miserable run.
Nor Lye is an odd one - apart from the mystery as to how they can maintain a club above STEP05 given their location out in the middle of nowhere!
They were relegated 'on-field' anyhow but got mighty close to an unlikely survival attempt in the final month or so.
I went v.recently - Easter Mon - and tho' they've done a lot of cosmetics around the place it was still the basic rural ground it has always been. The loos here have always been a bit of a 'passage of faith' :?
Interesting to know what they failed on - suspect the 'multiple ingress' rules ' though they had built a nice new turnstile block .... and more or less enclosed the ground....
...maybe things like dressing rooms and board room size etc etc.
Royals and Racers
North Shields not North Leigh !!
:lol: :lol:
..my morning has been like that at work !! Better sharpen up or I'll be sending people to the wrong part of the borough! :?
...senility kicking in again.... :P - but tbf I think N.LEIGH were 'up' :?: for demotion anyway - from what I'd read last month
- it was even mooted that Winchester City were reviewing their status at STEP03 - with a view to requesting voluntary demotion?
Problem there is - it could entail a two-step drop as that's what the 'powers-that-be' usually impose :( so Winch might see if they can endure, whatever issues led them to consider lowering themselves in the first place?
Was a lot of conjecture and rumour anyway ...... probably from wishful thinking Hendon/Harrow fans, I think? :wink:
(They could be the TBA touched on above? - I'll delve a bit on NLM and see if anyone's found anything else definite yet?)
...and North Shields had seemingly 'bullied' their way at STEP05/06 for quite a long time and were criticized for it - reportedly turning down a couple of promotion to remain a big fish where they were etc. - careful what you wish for I s'pose?
Oh and crowd at the Walton & H/Northwood PO last night was 1,047; Marlow got 373.
Thought Walton would of got more than that through the door.
They have gone all ticket for the final - bold move, expecting it to sell out.
