End Of Season Awards 2011/2012

Last season was the first time in 13 years of on-line voting we had a double winner with Shane Long picking up the Player of the Season and Most Improved Player titles. History has repeated itself right away this year with Alex Pearce picking up both awards. Pearce had a stunning season being the rock in the centre of a Reading team with a incredible defensive record. Voting was tight for Player of the Season but Pearce was a runaway winner for Most Improved Player.

Votes were collected between during June and July 2012.
All result figures are expressed as percentages of the total vote.

Worst Reading FC Performance 2011/2012

2011/2012 was a great season - but the Royals got off to a dodgy start. It's no suprise that three of the top four worst performances of the season came in the opening weeks of the season. The FA Cup exit against Stevenage was a season low point and that finishes second to the ultimate worst performance - the 0-2 home defeat against Watford.

Reading 0 - 2 Watford (Championship, 10 Sep 2011) 33.7
Reading 0 - 1 Stevenage (FA Cup, 07 Jan 2012 ) 19.2
Reading 1 - 2 Barnsley (Championship, 20 Aug 2011) 14.4
Charlton 2 - 1 Reading (Carling Cup, 23 Aug 2011) 5.8
Cardiff 3 - 1 Reading (Championship, 02 Jan 2012) 4.8
Peterborough 3 - 1 Reading (Championship, 20 Mar 2012) 3.8
Others 18.3
