HOW TO PLAY
A
brief description of the rules follow:
- Predictions
are sent individually for each Reading game.
- Each
player is only allowed one entry per game
- All
entries to be submitted using the on-line form only
- Changes can not be made once a prediction has been entered - so fully check your entry form before submission!
- You
must enter each match using the exact name and email address used for previous
entries
- The
number of scorers listed MUST match the number of goals you have predicted
or all your scorers listed will be ignored!
- Points
will be awarded as follows:
- EITHER:
- 6
Points:
For the exact result and score. (you predict 3-1 to Reading and Reading
win that game 3-1) OR
- 2
Points:
For the correct result but wrong score (you predict a 1-1 draw and Reading
draw 0-0) OR
- 1
Point:
For correctly predicting how many goals Reading would score (you predict
2-0 to Reading and Reading lose 2-3)
OR
- 0
Points: For the wrong result and wrong number of goals scored by Reading.
(you predict 1-0 to Reading and Reading draw 0-0)
- ie.
You get either 6,2,1 or 0 points for your prediction PLUS:
- AN
ADDITIONAL 1 POINT FOR EACH CORRECT READING SCORER WILL BE AWARDED
-
The table will be arranged in decending order of prediction averages.
- Averages
will be calculated by taking the number of games the player has predicted
for and taking the players total score.
- Where
two players averages are the same the number of games predicted will be taken
into consideration. The player having predicted the most games will have the
advantage!
- To
rank in the table you must have predicted for AT LEAST 10 GAMES
- If
you have not yet predicted for at least 10 games you will still be listed,
but not on the ranking players table.
-
At the end of the season there will be three winners:
- The
best average points player: the person who has the highest average after
Reading's final game of the season - according to the published table.
- The
highest points player: the person who has the highest total points after
Reading's final game of the season - according to the published table.
- A random winner: a random player will be chosen from the full list of players who have predicted a minmum of ten games.
Good
Luck!
