Re: Marcus Hahnemann > Shaka Hislop > Adam Federici

Probably the most remarkable goalkeeping performance I’ve seen from a Reading goalkeeper was Simon Shepard away at Leicester One of the great "I was there" moments in Reading FC history. I still can't believe just how bad Shepard was in general, we can't have had many worse keepers ever c...

Re: Ivar Ingimarsson > Tyler Bindon > Liam Moore (in his prime)

Dariusz Wdowczyk by a country mile. Shame he was a walking sicknote. I hope Tyler Bindon's career continues to blossom as he is such class act. 100% agree, the best I have seen. I’ll always have a soft spot for Hicks and Upson for the brief time he was with us was immense. Wdowczyk with pace would'...

Re: England - the future....

When Tuchel took over at Chelsea he left out of his first squad (from memory v Wolves at home) all the players he did not personally know and went with experience. At the time Chelsea's best player - Mason Mount - was left frustrated on the sideline and only introduced in the second half, making an...

Re: Gylfi Sigurdsson > Michael Olise > Steve Sidwell

Sidwell was a completely different type of player to Olise and Gylfi. I was always surprised a mid-lower premier league team didn't come in for him before we got promoted.

Sutekh Rio Ferdinand seemed very quiet on TNT’s commentary at times last night :?

Not quiet enough though.

Re: Question for the day.

Pele would be warming the bench for Bournemouth. If you dropped a prime Pele into football now I reckon his fitness levels would see him struggle to make into a football league match  But take a 10 year old Pele and give him the football schooling current players get and you'd still get one of...

Fair play to him sticking his head above the parapet again but it feels like he would benefit more from going in as an assistant/coach somewhere for a couple of seasons.

Re: CONFRIMED: Latest rumours Confrimed as Unconfrimed

Snowflake Royal I'm all up for going out screaming, but that's for when the club dies and we can't hurt its fortunes any further.

So we're torching the stadium on the last day of the season then?

Re: Confimred - Billy Bodin signs

Hunt's hardly going to say we were desperate and he was the only option we had is he. True but barely see the point in going in to calling around to get character references etc if they didn't but I'm sure the list of options was pretty short. I wasn't being entirely serious and think that the recr...

The ref is so shit he's just let them take a freekick 5 yards into our half that was given for us being offside.

Re: SpuROFLs

Hadn't realised quite how far they'd plummeted down the table. Its shame there's some truly bad teams in the league as they could get dragged into a proper relegation battle unlike Man U's never going to happen one even if its funny to joke about it.

Re: Weekend Football

Agreed. I think Liverpool will win, but they are only a couple of losses of potentially seeing the chasing pack right behind them Its seems that after half a season teams have started to work out how to negate Slot's tactics a bit better. Was always going to happen at some point so I think it'll be...
