Re: The most charismatic/moronic fan we have or have ever had

Haha yeah doesn't time fly. The last time I saw us play Oxford away was under Taxi. We lost by that scoreline that night, or close to. I remember Nige climbing up the fence in protest and the pigs weren't too happy. Is that Ginger Nige? Who hung Around with the girl " Feret"? They were ve...

Re: The most charismatic/moronic fan we have or have ever had

RoyalBlue If it's 'Super Fan' then Blackie and his coat(s) has to be in the running. Not sure how he fits with the definition of 'charismatic' though.

Is he still alive? I remember him!

Re: The most charismatic/moronic fan we have or have ever had

Who was that "superfan" chap in the papers? I remember seeing him without a top in the papers. And why was he superfan. Because he took his top off and really wanted Reading to win games? Not sure if its the same guy but Oxford away the night we won 3-1 springs to mind. A few standing row...

Re: Any player you recall who virtually beat us on their own.

No one remember's that Peter Hoekstra performance? Unplayable on his day at our level. Kavanagh was responsible for some top end performances against us too. Just dictated play so easily rather than score silky goals.

Re: MATCHWATCH : West Bromwich Albion (h) sponsored by Neil Clement

genome the level of officiating and the gamesmanship from West Brom (tbh fair play to them, if the refs buy it) pissed me off more than the performance.

+1 its enough to hope they have a collapse and let Leeds take it, which is honestly saying something.

Re: MATCHWATCH : West Bromwich Albion (h) sponsored by Neil Clement

I'm over it. If it's not us shooting ourselves in the foot, its rampant bad luck, gamesmanship and cheating from the other team or down right disgraceful officials that you have to wonder are just defaulting decisions to certain sides based on league positions or club size. I can't be arsed with it ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : West Bromwich Albion (h) sponsored by Neil Clement

Excellent half-time team talk, Mark Shhh don't talk about the almighty savior that way! With the run of games we have coming up we could be right back in the relegation fight at this rate. Should never have offered him the contract extension, its like everyone got comfortable and stopped making the...

Re: MATCHWATCH : West Bromwich Albion (h) sponsored by Neil Clement

Bowen is simply not learning from mistakes. Sitting back inviting pressure constantly whenever we take the lead West Brom are a good side who play on the front foot. You'd be hard pressed to find any team who haven't sat back against them to some degree. Good side or not, we just ship consistent ox...

Put it on just in time to hear the WBA commentators saying its amazing Reading are sitting so deep this early on. Bang equalizer 20 seconds later. Good stuff boys.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Cardiff City (a) sponsored double header

Probably because Puscas hasn't actually looked very good, whilst Meite and Baldock have both scored goals more recently and put in more overall work Hasn’t looked very good when playing as a lone striker when it’s clearly not what he can do?! Not being a lone striker doesn't really forgive not real...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Bristol City (h) sponsored by Bobby Williams

Since Bowen got that contract extension we seem to be getting worse. Yep, total knee jerk reaction to a few wins by the owners. He is totally unproven, and there is going to be literally no one better than us queuing up to hand a contract to a guy in his first management job, with an expensive squa...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Derby County (h) sponsored by Yakubu

Derby are horrific this season, no away wins since the opening day, dreadful setup play and don't score many goals. We are just the team you want to play to change your season. I'll go 0-2, two shit deflected goals as always. " but our buildup play was good, we just couldn't take our chances&qu...

Re: BFTG Birmingham

FFS yet another totally unacceptable performance and result. Just what is it about this manager and team that they do this so often? They pick up a few wins, look like they've turned a corner, then they lose to a oxf*rd oxf*rd team at home and look like a total shambles in the process. This script ...

Re: BFTG Leeds

Same old. There has been no belief in any Reading team for years now. As soon as Leeds scored I switched the stream off because we could have kept playing for hours and never equalised. Leeds weren't even that impressive to be honest, they looked good at the back but created very little and it would...
