May not be as easy for us As the same steward is stationed near us each game. In the past, if one of the kids couldn't make the game we tended to bring along a friend of the other. However, I fear in future the steward may blow the whistle on us if the appearance of the kids changes from one game to...

As mentioned by me earlier in the thread, it was obvious this was a bargaining tool to get BBCRB to pay more money. Mr Madejski is a very astute business man, I can't see how this is a victory for anyone other than him He may be an astute business man but that doesn't mean he always wins. I don't b...

Reading FC chairman John Madejski commented, "I am very pleased that we have finally been able to reach an agreement that will allow BBC Radio Berkshire to continue providing live commentary next season. "They have been strong supporters of the Club for a number of years............' ........

I heard John Madejski interviewed on BBC Radio Berks and he said the change of decision had nothing to do fan power and that the original announcement was just his way of negotiating. If this is true then I think that John Madejski has lost a lot of credibility. So was telling the fans to each send...

RoyalBlue As for the warm, non-racist welcome, Spacey was unusually polite for once!

I am always polite to our foreign visitors. Unless they slag us off.

Have we got any of our French friends on here - just to test that claim?!

There's a limit to what your local curry house etc. is going to pay to advertise on the radio and I suspect it's not high enough to cover the cost of the broadcasting rights if it ever had to be paid in hard cash!

erm...BBCRB commentary was useless drivel though. dellor and that other fool knew little about football, rfc or broadcasting. I'm pretty sure that other fool (Joel Hufford) would beat you in any trivia quiz about RFC. Suspect he could show you and 107 something about running a radio show as well! T...

Wolves won the midlands final - captained by Mick Gooding playing along side a certain Scott Taylor! Given Scott joined us as a trainee he should definitely be a founder of our masters team. Add to that the likes of Neil Webb, Lawrie Sanchez and Steve Wood and we are starting to get a pretty tasty l...

The number of listeners for live commentary would be a valid arguement if 107FM was a publicly funded radio station fighting for the rights, as it stands people will have no choice but to listen to 107 commentary or go without. Therefore the advertising would still flood in to be associated with a ...

So you are telling me that people that can't make the home/away game will boycott 107 in their thousands and simply not listen to the commentary? I think not. Regardless of any potential boycott, and I believe a fair number of supporters will out of principle, surely the point is that the area cove...
