Re: Gylfi is leaving Reading

Sorry gents, have I missed something ?? We all know that Gylfi and his agent insisted on a contract release clause when he signed his new terms in the Summer, no doubt with a substantial figure attached to this to the tune of £5m or similar. I am sure whatever the figure was, it was a substantial am...

Re: Arab takeover interest reported on tribalfootball.com

I am not a regular poster, but I do have very close links to the club. I am not going to post idle speculation, I will only post what has been confirmed to me by very senior people within the club. In support of previous posts, I can confirm talks have been ongoing for some time, are at a very advan...

Re: Kitson signs for Stoke for £5.5 million

I am not entirely sorry to see Kits go. I think this was clever business on the part of Hammond and Co, Stoke are desperate and £5.5m is exceptional money for a player of his age and body condition. I also want to offer another supporting argument, do we really need a target man ? We finished 8th tw...

Who's gone that your REALLY REALLY wanted ?

Whilst I am as frustrated as the next man about our lack of transfer activity to date (if only for a bit of excitement), I would invite your thoughts about the players that have been transferred to Championship clubs in the last month, and those you feel we've missed the boat on. From my perspective...

Leroy out for a while...

Bad news. Mother in-law was at the Royal Berks yesterday, and in 'hobbled' Leroy Lita on crutches. Apparently he looked in severe pain, and was being scheduled for an immediate scan. I guess we'll wait to hear confirmation on the official website, but it looks likely we'll be without him for a while.

I want to take my 3 yr old to Reading vs Watford

Does anyone know what the Club Policy is on taking your young kids along to a game ?

My son is 3 years old, I am planning to take him to watch the Watford home game, and sit him on my lap throughout. This will be his first live football game.

Presumably this is ok ? they don't charge for this ?

I understand Fox Sports are showing it as their lead game on Saturday afternoon, I just wanted to know the best site to watch it. ( I don't mind a pay site if necessary)

Reading are underachieving, our form is a disgrace

Hi and welcome to the topic designated specifically for all those who think we are underachieving, Coppell is clueless, and we should be top six. This is your very own topic. Treat it well. Here you can post your own messages of negativity , safe in the knowledge that all those who agree and post wi...

Is the Watford game on Internet tomorrow ? I know it's shown live on Art Sports 6, so I am hoping somewhere will have it.

What about Reading Pubs showing the game ? I know Art Sports is on the Hotbird satellite.

It's also worth noting that if you study the forthcoming 6 fixtures for the other teams in the relegation vicinity, some of them in particular are very very tricky. QUICK!!! If you register as a member of http://www.tvandsportstreams.com (no charge) you can use their forum. Post a message in the 'help' section of the forum, for use by non-subscribers (it'll be obvious) and ask for the Portsmouth vs Reading match to be shown on Art Sports 2. They are tossing up ...

Gents

Can you recommend the best site(s) for watching the Porstmouth game tomorrow ?

I understand it's being shown by Art Sports live at 3pm, so it must be on the Internet somewhere.

Cheers

I think the main difference between Arsenal and any other team we will face this season, is that they don't play with any 'natural' strikers. I fully believe Sonko and Inga are excellent 'marking' centre backs, and this was reflected when Drogba and Schevchenko were kept incredibly quiet throughout....

what worries me , even in the absence of hearing Leroy's side of the story, is that he apologised via text . I suspect the gentleman in question has retained the Text on his phone with the apology, in which case if Leroy is to deny the incident, he'll have a job to explain the reason behind the text...
