Re: another, another, yes another - you heard me right, another embargo 2023 for late PAYE payments

I struggle to see £10m at worst being inconsequential to a guy who is worth maybe £600m - £700m where there is minimal effort involved. But the super rich are baffling to me. As long as the company shares remain suspended I'd say his hands are somewhat tied. The Sydney property sale may have bought...

For the record.

A winding up order can be served if the debtor has received and ignored a statutory demand served at least 21 days ago.

Until there's confirmation of some kind. Unwise to assume anything. As finances are obviously extremely precarious.

Re: “ Sell before we Dai (to someone fit and proper)“ supporters action group v2.3 sponsored by Dunlop Tennis Balls

With Dai apparently uncontactable by anyone at the club, is there any legal mechanism for declaring missing and after a certain period of time transfering executive decision making to Bowen? Obviously it's 7 years to declare him officially dead, which we might as well start on now, but anything a b...

Re: Up to date Selles poll - in or out?

Elm Park Kid I mean, for one Dai would need to actually need to be in contact with someone at the club for that to happen!

Dai has lost interest. You can see why his other football ventures failed and ended in disarray.

The club is a dog's breakfast. On field antics are just a sideshow to the main event. Going to get even worse before it gets better.

Elm Park Kid Get a new manger, new line up, new tactics.

Unfortunately real life is far more complex. Not a computer football fantasy game. Which seems to be the way the game has evolved since spending money became the marker of success.

CountryRoyal I always said in recent seasons if we were to go down, we’re far more likely to go down again than go up but I didn’t think it would be, this bad.

Unrealistic to expect a bunch of kids to compete week in week out with seasoned pros.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Charlton Athletic (a)

Bide your time. Next season could be a reset. More games to win and new grounds to visit! Ah yes the great re set. I’ve been warning you all about the great reset for ages. Should have been a planned decision rather one forced through self inflicted bad management and the constant rolling of dice.

Clyde1998 I can't think of a suitable club who could afford to (or would want to) lease part of Bearwood.

Brentford. Only have a temporary facility currently.

Millsy I didn't catch the Swindon team news - are they playing their first team or kids?

Yes, playing kids rather than risk their thread bare first team.

Sounds like he gets his info from twitter trolls. No one has been able to explain why we'd go into administration. The Directors of the company may have little alternative. Under insolvency law Directors can be found personally liable if there's Wrongful trading. Worse still if it's deemed to be Fr...

“We quickly need to learn how to play” - Selles Yeah. You’ve only had the entire preseason and almost a quarter of a season. It might be a good idea to start figuring it out about now eh? Perhaps there's no answer. At the current time simply not good enough. Expecting a bunch of kids to be competit...

Sebastian the Red but I see absolutely no chance in hell of us putting pressure on the Chinese government over this.

Pressure to do what? It's none of their business.

Re: another, another, yes another - you heard me right, another embargo 2023 for late PAYE payments

Maybe if we had some success under Dai, we would have been the same. Pipe dream to believe we could ever compete with the top Premier clubs. The gulf in finances is simply too big. Dai wanted instant success. For his ego and to be better than his mates who also bought English football clubs. There ...

The only protection available is to put the club into administration.

Hopefully this will silence the critics. Why should this silence the critics? The club are up to their neck in shite thanks to that Chinese crook. All that’s happened is employees have been paid on time which is a basic requirement. The vultures will be circling looking to pick off the cream of the...

Re: another, another, yes another - you heard me right, another embargo 2023 for late PAYE payments

A calculated decision to meet the payroll and kick the HMRC liability into the short grass while avoiding a points penalty. Teetering on the edge of a precipice springs to mind......... Administration cannot come soon enough. At least then the club can move forward with a purpose and rebuild. As at ...
