Mr Holt. I read that you were voted Sports Journalist of the Year in 2005 and 2006. Though it appears that after the 2005 awards, ten editors of major newspapers released a joint statement announcing their boycott because of the 'decline in conduct and prestige'. Their statement read "The edito...

When Reading were going so well least season in the Championship I don't recall their being 3,000 away fans at Burnley .................... A paltry two Royalty points was the reward............. I refused to pay excessive money to watch Feynord in a friendly so missed out on 20 point...

A lot of teams (for league matches) go to Old Trafford with the sole aim of keeping a clean sheet in the aim of getting a point. Its the FA Cup, Reading only know one of playing and that is to win. Anything is possible! :)

The low valuations for Lita trouble me. At the end of the day he is without doubt the best finisher in the club inside the box, its just a question of combining him with the right partner up front.

Not really, I think any Premiership team in any round of the Cup this season would have been a disappointment.

 So you wouldn't even expect to meet Chelsea, Arsenal or Man Utd in the final ?

Surprised with the reaction of some many posters on here. After over a century in the wilderness of football. Reading have made the top flight. If Reading are now to go a step further and win a trophy ( of meaning). We have to beat the "good teams". To do that our players need to gain the ...

The fact that Sidders doesnt want to commit suggests that he wants away.

Reo Coker would make an ideal replacement. To achieve even bigger things ultimately RFC have to progressively improve the squad.

Last Saturday after the London Irish Game (crowd over 14,000) the cars were leaving the stadium at the same time !!!

So nothing to compared to a couple of coaches!

Upton Park is a prime site for residential developement and remember West Ham are looking to move to the Olympic Stadium. So the £85m has little to do with the value of the club. Whereas any purchaser of Reading FC would have to buy for the love of the game. Before the game at Craven Cottage the ot...

Don't forget Bobby Zamora. Once Dean Ashton is back Zamora will be excess to requirements. Coppell may be the manager to get the best out of him.

I was watching the Reading highlights in the graduate bar on Sunday and got talking to a french lad. He asked if Reading had any famous players, and my answer was, obviously, "No". Now, I know most football fans would have probably heard of Sidwell but that really is about it But aren't a...

If that was a full strength Man Utd side on Saturday then I'd put my life savings on Chelsea to win the premiership this season. With Giggs out and an unfit Saha relegated to the bench they really didnt have a cutting edge upfront. With Ronaldo out they would struggle even more. I was impressed with...

Seems odd that the away coaches aren't escorted away from the ground by TVP. Cos people travel on coaches doesn't mean that they are official supporters club, any group of people can hire a coach. Must say that the lack of TVP outside the stadium at the bottom of Hurst Way and along the A33 was dist...
