Re: Did you see that Tranmere game?

The one where Robin Friday scored his spectacular goal? No, I didn't. I can't imagine many people on here can claim to have seen it. Only the older nobbers probably. Speaking as an old nob, I was there. A mere lad at the time of course but with my dad, still a RFC fan today at 94. All the stories a...

Re: Reading FC on U.S. TV: Palace (A) 21 MAR/LIVE; also clocks

Thanks W.

I'd like to point out that the Palace game is also live on the estimable ESPN360.com for those of you that can get it, and would rather stay home in your jammies and not have to bother fighting with Gooners for screen time.

Re: Is this squad good enough to take us up to the premiership

I think the answer to this particular question is quite possibly. To me, the more relevant question however is whether this squad is good enough for us to stay there.

Re: Reading FC on U.S. TV: Watford (H) FRI 3 ET/To the Internets

Apologies if this has already been reported elsewhere but has anyone tried ESPN360- a legit internet option? I watched the Birmingham game live on it while lounging poolside in FLA and as of two minutes ago they list: Fri, Jan 9 3:00PM Football League Football League: Watford vs. Reading Not everyon...

Re: Burnley at home - Sat Oct 4th - PREDICTIONS?

Granted teams have good days and bad days (and Lord knows RFC do) but how do we explain the sudden transformation from the hopeless Ipswich performance to the wonderful result at Molineux. Is it eg Bikey starting and Harper not? Is it playing on Tuesday etc? I am many 1000's of miles away but would ...

Re: 1st game Forest Away

Emperor's new fixtures time. First of all, I'm not a plastic. I've supported this lot man and boy for 45 years. But isn't this fixture list kinda depressing? Back to the humdrum world of small crowds and passing media attention. Maybe I was spoilt by two years of the Prem, but we just blew it last s...

-- Sunderland (H) on Saturday 22nd December is scheduled for live screening on Setanta Xtra from 10:00 AM Eastern. Looks like Setanta have been lying to you again. Nothing but a blank screen on Setanta Xtra in my part of the world. my part of the world too- but the barkeep assures me it will be on ...

The Kings Head in Santa Monica is a good spot.
Just read some reviews for it....... Looks good. Is it on Ocean Drive? There was one very dodgy review though.
I would say that your chances of getting shot are pretty low. And Santa Monica is a nice place to hang out after the game.

Anyone know anything about the Blackburn game away from home on the final day of the season? I will be in Los Angeles on that day and I was wondering if the game will be shown in the US and where would be a good place to watch the match without having to go through South Central LA and risk getting...

thanks a lot, gutted about the timing but at least its live on tv so i can get someone to video it for me! But it is always possible that Minneapolis could get a snowstorm at the end of October, and your flight would be delayed enough to catch the game in a bar. Just in case I am sure that Chicago ...

The early word about Sheffield United (A) on Saturday 16th September is not nearly so good. FSC is still sorting its schedule for that weekend, but it does not appear that it will be airing either live or on delay on FSC; however, two same-day delayed telecasts are on Setanta's docket: from 4 PM Eas...
