Sorry for being thick, but didn't we get good money for Primus when he went to Portsmouth? If we didn't, whoever was manager at the time (TB2???) has further instilled in me what a duckegg he is. Linvoy was a great defender and a nice lad too. Rare these days. Should've kept him :( I thought he lef...

For example, extending by 10K seats doesn't make much sense if we were to go down, would the club be able to put the plans on ice and ...

royal tee Did we not sell Scott Murray back to Bristol City

Wasn't it a deal whereby the fee was exactly equal to the money outstanding on the transfer at the time? If so, it pretty much equates to a free transfer.

wehateoxford personally, i think when hunt charged through into the box halfway through the second half he would've scored if the ref had played advantage.

Re: F.A.O SHANE LONG

You are amazing, this guy deserves man of match tonight, he tried and tried and tried and never gave up. Put in 110%, was one of the best players on the pitch Mrs Butler.... i think has now become Mrs Long but name won't change until we are married :D disagree - his work rate was nothing like that ...

We played Arsenal in the 4th round  So if we're still in the Cup in December Newcastle will be switched? Buy bye bargin rail tickets! Nope. All week commencing dates: 4th Round - 6th Nov QF - 18th Dec SF - 8th and 22nd Final on 25th Feb. Only game that could be moved is Boro (a) if we make th...

The ST holder next to me left after 120 mins and missed the pens. How we have the reputation for plastic support is beyond me. Good to see all the moaners behind me could not be bothered to put in an appearance and hopefully RL and Schards can make the less important game on Saturday. Quite a few p...

Long needs games, simple as that. You can tell there is something about him but without playing 90 mins week in, week out he is not going to develop. I do feel we missed a trick by not getting another striker in this summer as it would have freed up the space to let Long go off to Sheff Wed or some...

Club reckon on 12,000 turning up. Worth watching what the total is tonight then, if its well below 12k then I think the clubs 20 point royalty scheme has failed miserably. How'd you workthat out? If 12,000 people have paid £8 then I'd say the club will be quite happy regardless of whether they tur...

I really wish that we hadn't had this sort of run up to this game (SU then Darlington). To a certain extent I think it will slow down our acclimation to the Prem. league. While we started very well, a lot of the SU game looked like Championship league play to me. Same will be true for the Darlingto...
