Re: Expanding the Mad Stat

Well if we can't sell out 24K a week with ease, then there is no point on anymore threads on planning the expansion to 40K. We'll just be "Little Ol' Reading 'till I die!" Very early in the season to question that. All tickets were sold for Boro and our 2nd game is on a Monday night on TV...

I'm sorry but really can't have a decent grasp of business if you believe that last point. No company are ever going to buy back tickets from fans unless they know they have a good chance of selling that seat. If for example, you know you can't make the Blackburn game but the club haven't sold the ...

Another supporter wins by getting a ticket for a game when they were hard to come by. ps I am a ST holder and I think that the deal on offer looks pretty good. Principally because it means that this club is now filling the stadium at last. This is a factor I don't think the club considers. Do they?...

Surely Royalty points are proof that fans have attended less attractive fixtures and supported the team? Forcing fans to buy tickets to two games when they may not be able to attend the second one isn't much of a reward. Whilst I agree the system is flawed, no-one's been forced to buy tickets for b...

I really don't get people's problem here. The wording quoted in the first post is standard for scheme's of this nature, it is open to interpretation but if you look har enough most T&C's are. At the end of it all, the club have offered a scheme that they DO NOT need to offer to allow fans who ha...

Re: Buy-back con

The mythical buy-back scheme has now, apparently, been launched - and surprise, surprise, it won't be anything like we might have expected it to be. Firstly, it will only operate for SOLD OUT games. Apparently it's about to be in operation for the Man City game. Secondly, you don't get money back.....

Re: Man Utd Tickets

Forbury Lion According to the ticket office there were just 450 left yesterday.

Just booked a couple online for a friend who had to wait until today to order as his kid only has 55 Royalty points and they want to sit together.

So, one would assume there's only 450 Charlton tickets left as well then.

So for the East Stand then, a £335 increase since the first season but two divisions higher.

I doubt you'll get nicked just escorted from the ground and sent on your merry way.

You will probably have your member card removed if you have one, or if bought on someone elses card, they will have theirs removed.

Er, we're playing Manchester City, not Bristol City, 17 Bus. Why would Man City fans give him stick, what's he done to them? You are an idiot sometimes. Let me see, professional player gets in the papers for getting in a fight and being arrested. I wonder what they could find to give him stick abou...

Chaney Some of you are forgetting that king Steve only signs one year contracts, if we get relegated he will consider that a failure..and he would most probably walk.

It's just as likely that he will walk if we stay up.

I'm depresssed at the moment anyway. Me too. I was always brought up to believe that you should always grasp every opportunity and give it your best shot. If you give 100% and fail, at least you can look at yourself and feel proud for giving it a go. I wish we'd been brave enough to give the Premie...

But has he been charged? If he hasn't been charged he wouldn't have had to be released on bail. So, is he guilty then, or not? FFS Spacey, he has not been found guilty of an offence as yet but it is patently obvious that he was involved in something at the weekend. That is the crux of the matter at...

Sorry if I've missed this somewhere, but why would Manchester United fans want to buy tickets for our game with Charlton (and vice versa)? Doesn't effect away fans. If a Man Utd fan wants to get in the home end, then tough buy both. This scheme is being set up to stop fans of the big clubs getting ...
