It would need to be a lot of ppl late arriving, not the odd few. I can recall at EP games being delayed by 15 mins as there were massive queues outside. That would probably fall under safety issues. If the game kicked off with many still queuing a crush could form as people try to get in quicker.

Kick off can now not be delayed beacause of late fans, that would screw up the television people too much. Why should a game kick off late for late fans? You wouldn't expect a play or gig to start late because some people were late and a football match is no exception. Games are put back when there...

Re: Reasons to be cheerful

- Best placed of the promoted sides - 100% home record - Only Manchester United have scored more goals - Doyle looks at home in the Premiership - So does Shorey - Wigan, City and Sheffield United in our next three, and a chance to settle ourselves into a mid-table position. - Currently above Spurs,...

Personally, I don't see any problem with this. Anyone who is a Royals fan will be happy to have a chance to get a ticket for 2 games in one transaction - and because personal/phone callers can choose which 2 games to link together that's exactly what it is - the chance of not being able to make one...

Just phoned em... Apparently they ARE showing it, after the Charlton/Utd game, with kick off around 9:30 due to delays. That writes off getting the train then (last one 11:12), and as I'm wounded, I can't drive. Football First it is then. The bastards lied to me then! Didn't bother going down...

Yes conceding four in two is a bit worrying but in context, the two last night were a penalty and a goal after 30 mins of playing with 10 men with a reorganised defence.

Not the best game to gleam any worries from. We do need more defenders though that is for certain.

Just seen the pen on Football First. Very gutted by the decision to be honest. I can just about see why a pen was given but to send Sonko off as well is debatable at best. Expecially given how close Hahnemann was to the ball a the time.

I've decided I'm gonna watch Charlton vs United, then flick over to Football First for the main event. It's really quite immense to be spoilt for choice like this... I hope we never leave the Prem!  As long as you realise that you will know the score by the time FF starts by watching th...

The game will be shown in full at 22:00 BST as far as I know, so not live but the full 90 minutes I am led to believe. Correct, on Sky - Football First. Surely football first will just be the 60 minute cut or are they doing the full 90 minutes? Oops! You are right. Don't know why I thought it said ...

I am in no doubt that it happened. I am in no doubt that people were rightly upset about it. I also think that it wasnt what could be seen as a major incident and because of all the talk about "The Scorpians" pre-match, the unfortunate Boro fans targetted saw it as a horrid attack by a fi...

Scarface It's easy for us to write this off and say it's an overaction, but that was exactly the same as most Wolves fans said after our play-off game.

Indeed but when that made the papers here, as it has done in Boro, those complaining were happy to speak. That doesn't seem to be the case here.

Whilst agreeing with most that you say WCH. There is nothing to show that this happened as described. The quotes on Rivals are supposedly from the chairman of the disabled supporters association. Yet whilst the article has been picked up by the local press up there, he has refused to comment to them...
