Prepared to be whooshed here, but isn't the (non)existence of the Scorpions just an OAE running gag? However, you have to ask why Boro fans would make up this report if it's not true? Yes, same as the TTC... Agreed though, why would a Boro fan bother going onto OAE and make up such a story? The sam...

Is NO-ONE concerned, like me, that we'll do well to hang on to Doyler amongst others before this season is out? He didn't appear to be fazed at all yesterday - played his usual game and was outstanding imho. If someone came in with £2 mill upwards for him, the club would bite their hands off. That...

Whatever. I also bet that at 2 down you were thinking "Can't WAIT to post told you so".... I'm so sorry that the team showed you and the rest of the doom-mongers that they have the quality, team spirit and determination to come back from a 2 goal defecit and win at this level. Bar 1 playe...

3 points gained; 1 point proved. I'm sure Maguire and Southbank cheered the 2 Boro goals; yet unless I'm mistaken, football is a 90 minute game, not a 25 minute game, and as I said (ignoring the puerile edit from Maguire of my post) individually and collectively we had the better team out there yes...

It's for the ones who've been thru the highs, the lows, the in-betweens and the whole thing all over again for whom I spare a thought on this, the very eve of the greatest day --the absolute pinnacle-- in the one hundred and thirty-five years of the life of Reading Football Club. You, above all, I ...

Is it really that surprising? Cost of tickets, time of year will have a major impact on the sales. People may well have had plans that mean they can't be there. For example, I know of 3 non-STH who would have gone but have had V tickets for ages. And, sad as it is, the fact that we are only playing ...

i'd say convey, from what ive seen on highlights with downing, he doesnt really seem to have much pace going past defenders. I'd say as far as crossing, free kicks etc go, convey and downing are on about a par, but convey just has the edge due to pace and better success of taking people on imho.......

£3 will be too much - add in travelling time and parking fees and it will deter many. Given the massive hike in prices and the reduction in games this is taking the mick. STHs are getting a raw deal. If things go badly this year we will be paying a great deal more for a great deal less satisfactio...

Wow, being laughed at by SB1871!!! I don't know if I can handle it!!! This is the time when all the little boys who have watched the Premiership on the telly for years now cream themselves because the "big names" are coming to play; they are only "big" names cos Sky have ...

About what? That Boateng is a decent player. Boateng is a very decent ball-winning midfielder. If he really was that good, why did he ever leave Aston Villa? Let's see - first choice midfielder at Villa performing very well. Another club thinks hmmmm he is just what we need and offers an att...

SpaceCruiser I should hope that Mr Hob Nob would be sensible not to use any negative ramblings of SDR. Or even Bracknell RFC.

In fact I would be shocked if he didn't. Not necessarily them but if posters make negative points that they can back up then use them otherwise you lose all balance.

Viduka. Schwarzer. Yakubu. Boateng etc etc etc  Firstly, thats your opinion. Secondly, Viduka - he blows hot and cold and I wonder if it was a choice between him and Kitson who many would prefer. Schwarzer - I'd have Marcus over him any day of the week frankly. Yakubu - I'd rather thave Doyle...

its funny you should mention that.... seriously though, i dont see how people can claim its a huge unbreachable gap when he's just played in the world cup finals, and made a mockery of italy albeit for about 20 minutes. in this instance sir, you should remove your bias against reading biasm :P Don'...

Fair enough. Haven't got the radio on.

Strange move to me, makes our defensive options weaker. We MUST have 1 if not 2 coming in this week then.
