Re: Dunne Injury?

Ideal in talking absolute rubbish non-shocker. VM in silly dissing of the excellent Hunt's contribution non-shocker. Some of us have a blind spot about players-mine have been Hughes and Hunt whereas for others it's Oster or Lita and we can never see their good side but I think that is normal with f...

Re: Dunne Injury?

Absolutely clattered in a fair 50/50 challenge by Hunty, the Bionic Man. Won us the game probably, what with City's centre-half issues. I'm in absolute shock that this is being taken so wrongly by so many. It wasn't anywhere near a challenge, let alone a 50/50 one! Dunne 100% clattered into...

Re: Team for Boro

How about building on this team Federici, Rosenior, Bikey, De la Cruz, Duberry, Hunt, Cisse, Fae, Convey, Long, Lita This is the last combination to have had any form of success (1-1 v Spurs) Do you mean the 2-2? TBH, I didn't think that line-up worked well enough to justify all the players coming ...

I'm a firm believer in that you will always get what you deserve in lots of things. If you put lots of something in be it effort, time, money whatever you will end up getting a reward eventually. I think in many ways Reading deserve to go down. Obviously I don't WANT that to happen at all, I want R...

Re: Bikey

A couple of You Tube suggestions for Bikey madness Seems like he deliberately wanted to miss the final. No way it's a time-wasting tactic, if he wanted he could have done something else silly and get a yellow at the most. The whole thing smells fishy. I suspect match-fixing could have been in play, ...

Re: Everton

Well said Rawlie. As it happens I am going to the game on Saturday....first and only away game I will go to this season. So what.. I am passionate about the club and always know the score, who is in the side and care very much about how we are doing...perhaps too much as there are more important th...

Re: isnt this fun

No, not my idea of fun at all In fact haven't been so depressed since 1995 Fun would be beating Liverpool this season or West Ham last year or drawing at Old Trafford and Stamford Bridge But for those of you who think the good old days were better and that the Championship and League 1 is real footb...

Re: What has caused this bad run of results.......

We have been on a wing (or lack of it) and a prayer since the day Blakey got injured. Coppell must accept full responsibility for not replacing Blakey with a quality winger, just like he would not replace Sidwell, even though he kept telling everybody how influential Sidwell was to us. Also, Downes...

Tredder Every team can read your style of play now and you have no plan B.

That might well be true, but I am not sure that we have a Plan A either!

Re: What has caused this bad run of results.......

Every time he's played in the centre of the defence he's looked pretty handy. However he made little challenge when Davies headed the ball on for Nolan to score. I doubt Sonko or even Ingimarsson would have lost out so easily. It wasn't so much that the initial header was lost - that can happen at ...

Re: What has caused this bad run of results.......

That's very harsh on Harper
This is surely just the problem of trying to knit together a new set of players, even if it's only one (Marek) it won't happen over night. Harps is not suddenly a bad player

Row Z Royal Apparently midfield is his preferred position. He can/has play/played both, but stated that his preference was in midfield.

He may prefer midfield, but his experience is in defence and it shows
