Re: Federici, Hamer or Andersen?

I have been watching quite alot of Brentford games this season, and from what i have seen Hamer is a quality prospect. He makes some really top draw saves and has great reactions. Not always the most intimidating in the air and his kicking can often go wayward. Still, i think he would be a good gamb...

Re: Hermann Hreidarsson to Reading!

Norfolk Royal Has anyone not considered he might be a replacement for Hunt?

No, unless Armstrong gets pushed into midfield and then HH plays at LB. I can't really see HH marauding up and down the wings to great effect.

Also, what does CCC stand for?

Re: Team for Cardiff

I believe that with Doyle, Marek should always be played. Like with Southampton when Marek wasnt playing, the ball was just kicked high at Doyle and as good in the air as he is thats not what we want him to be doing. Marek gives us that other dimension, that quality ball to feet. So he should be in ...

Re: Back from the Southampton game...

I think the team felt they were allowed a day off. Normally this doesnt matter when its only one person. But when you have 11......

Worst thing about the day was Dyer and Wright-Philips stealing my bag :(

Re: Derby - Back from the game.

USA - 7 (didnt really have much to do. good save from barazite near the end) Armstrong - 8 (quality ball for doyles first and good all round performance) Bikey - 9.5 (just awesome. dont think he lost a ball in the air all game. brilliant in the air and good ground play) Ingi - 7.5 (won most stuff in...

Re: who was reading's first black player/ foreign player

Interestingly i remember reading somewhere that Reading were the first english club to sign a foreign player. An Italian i believe. After they went on the tour of Italy and beat the likes of AC Milan and the full Italy side i think anyway. They were described by an Italian newspaper as "the fin...

Re: Who should be the Reading Captain after murty retires

As much as i love Hunty i cant see him being a great captain for the club.

We need someone who really keeps the team together under pressure, whereas hunt is a bit to scatty.

Marcus for me.

Re: Reading Legends?

Dictionary definition: noun 2. star, phenomenon, genius, spectacle, wonder, big name, marvel, prodigy, luminary, celeb (informal) megastar (informal) Kind of narrows it down a bit. Robin Friday, Steve Death maybe. I'm not sure people will be sat in a pub in 20 years time talking about the great Dar...
