Re: For the howard haters

A second striker that was utterly useless on the odd occasion he was asked to play centre mid. Not that I'd want to side track the thread but I'd be geniuenly interested how many assists The Sig got in open play. My suspicion is not many. Thank fcuk we got rid of him then. My apologies, I'd ...

Re: For the howard haters

We haven't used a creative central midfielder to any great effect at any point under McDermott. Just out of interest what was Sigurdsson then? Re: Norwich Away ticket prices

100% season tickets would cut down on a lot of admin for the TO, that's for sure. Would also be guaranteed income. But I think clubs are cautious of doing this as it's much harder for the next generation of fans to come through, so you'd be shooting yourself in the foot long term. I don't think the...

Re: For the howard haters

Very good technical player but just doesn't fit how we play. He haven't used a creative central midfielder to any great effect at any point under McDermott. He's too slow and too weak to work in our set up and as I think has been said previously, he works best when the team is centred around him and...

Can't see him making major changes and any that are made will be beacuse they're carrying knocks.

That said, about time Harte and Kebe got some time off

Re: Ivar and Brynjar agree to stay with Reading

I think Boris is doing his badges and is taking a more active role in the coaching side of things. I think getting Leigertwood has been a bit of an admission that Boris' days are numbered as a player. Still, be good to see him looking after the next generation

Re: Qatar 2022?

here is little test for the "engerland" fans..pick your 11 starters from the top three clubs in the premiership...city,united and arsenal. Very tricky. All three pack their team with foreign players who are all better than english players, so naturally the sort of players you could choose...

Re: Qatar 2022?

I hadn't realised the head of the Asian federation was Mr Qatar. I guess that's another reason why they managed to secure someof the votes. Fair play to them for standing on their own two feet, but now we're back to the horrible idea of the tournament being played in oven like conditions. Isn't one...

Re: Qatar 2022?

It's brilliant that UEFA and FIFA have no idea what to do with WC22. They're throwing all these ridiculous ideas around and Qataris have, quite rightly told them where to go. They gave them to WC on the basis of it being in the summer and in Qatar, if either of those factors is a problem now, you'd ...

Re: Sean Morrison

hes not spending anything I think that's a tad unfair tbh. We say "he's not buying players i.e. not spending money on the club" and when he spends £300,000 on two players and i expect another similar amount on a new striker (as that was the BWP fee) we say oh well its not actually Madejsk...

Re: RFC claims to fame

I've managed to completely blank Alex Pearce on a few occasions, once quite brilliantly when he was stood behind me in the Megastore as I got his name printed on my shirt. As I turned he apparently made towards me to make conversation and I walked straight past, much to the hilarity of my mates. Thi...

Re: Williams Rejects Carlisle

Bit off topic but can Cummings play at LB? If so, there's no real point in Williams staying, is there? Did a great job at Leicester at LB when he has Dyer running at him all game. Bar the horror show against Northampton I don't think he's be that bad but Harte, for all his failings, has shown what ...

Re: Jem Karacan

I am reserving judgement on Karacan until he passes a football. I like him a lot for the tempo and tackling he brings, but his lack of ability on the ball is a real pain. It doesn't need to be spectacular, Sidwell was superb for us when he broke up play and passed it ten yards, Karacan breaks up pl...

The Mirror suggested that the new owners were keen on installing a solid professional manager, with a track record of success, and a deep knowledge of the Premier League as the new Manager. In other words, Diego Maradona!!!!! :o :o :o Spoke to an unhappy 'ammers fan today; he said his only hope is ...
