Re: SC hasn't a clue.

We need to be a shade more realistic. Chopping and changing the manager will do nothing but waste time and take us backwards. How many managers have Leicester had since SSC joined? How successful have they been? We are in serious danger of "doing a Charlton". Positively, this would involv...

Re: SC hasn't a clue.

The trouble is that the easiest thing to change within football since the dawn of time is to replace the manager....and it will happen. I can see no reason why SC would even want to stay on next season. He was talked out of going last year and saved only at the last minute by the car park collective...

Re: Donnie Match thread sponsored by Stevie C's thousand...

Just had TXT from Mr Angry, looks like a 451 line up with Doyle palying left!! I would have had it Kebe left, Doyle right in 4-5-1/4-3-3? :?: That's the way I would have read it too. Marek Harper Gunnarsson Doyle Kitson Kebe very roughly doodled.

Re: Massive size of Coppells Cock Up

Please describe the 'Reading Way'. I don't know what that means. If you mean playing football on the floor, I think we lost the Reading Way quite some time ago.

Re: Coppell !! . . Has he lost it ?

just think its all mental weakness from the players. and its contagious now if we dont score within twenty they all go doolally and start playing like oxf*rd aldershot You are right, but it's not a weakness - it's just football. It is highly contagious which is why I found it puzzling why 4 points ...

Re: Coppell !! . . Has he lost it ?

I seriously thought that the win against Sheff Wednesday would have restored some confidence, there's nothing like an away win to galvanise...Plymouth was a decent point, but we should be winning there. I can only think that there is major uncertainty with HOW the decisions are made and what we act...

Re: Coppell !! . . Has he lost it ?

Aside from the huge chuck of the dice to get Little and Kitson back on loan (our scouting system ROCKS!), I'm really wondering if Coppell has lost the dressing room. Once upon a time, players walked into the XI and stayed there - consistency reigned. Now, you must be a genius to work out the XI. Def...

Re: 4-4-2

We have to face some facts, we do have only Plan A. Plan B doesn't work very well, so we go back to Plan A. Luckily, we have had plenty of results with 4-4-2, so maybe there is no luck there after all. The trouble is we are, have been, and will be very easy to read. Our game, as everyone knows, is t...

Reminds me, what about the lovely Darius Henderson? Sigh  I tried to find an image on google but sadly he seems to have settled for some horrendous bottle blonde barnet. His time at Reading was obviously the peak of his handsomeness... you know what...comments like that are why some men don't...

Didn't someone suggest that Cisse was a Legend a while back? Not even close. Players like Kerr, Parkinson, Murty are modern day heroes for the club. Not necessarily for how they performed week in, week out but for their affinity with the fans, they way they connected with 'us' as people, not ...

Re: Rumour - SHunt off

For what it's worth, not a sniff of a story regarding Reading or SHunt in particular on SSN since I've been watching it, which is about two hours now.

Lots of nonsense (Obafemi Martins/Darren Bent swap, for instance) but nowt of 'interest'.
