Re: Next Manager

Let me just throw this in::::

Terry Venables - just to the end of the season - to ensure we stay up (he has done this role before). That gives plenty of time to do some proper research and get in a decent manager with a proven track record.

Only a suggestion........

Re: Bristol City, Im Looking Foward to Seeing.....

I am working in Bristol at present and live here during the week. Some of the pubs here are great, admittedly some are sh*t, but that is the same wherever you go - Bristol is always good for a night out 8) . Unfortunately I won't be here that weekend and so will miss the game - and because of that i...

Re: Stoke fan here fellas

THE Amazing Man wrote "God, the guy is a joke up North, you'd think anyone would be so pompous as to name the stadium after themselves up here." Has Dave Wheelan, a northern monkey, not just changed the JJB Stadium to the DW (as in Dave Wheelan) Stadium, just because he sold the JJB Chain....

Re: I wish it was anyone but Ipswich next week.

Common sense would dictate that when a player went out on loan he would not be allowed to play against the team he was on loan from; therefore, he should not play against us. I would have expected that to be a clause in the deal. But with this club at the moment managerial common sense would appear ...

Re: Bullivant Vs Rodgers

Talking about shitty keepers - wasn't it around Mick and Jimmy's time that we had a really really dodger keeper called Simon Sheppard. Took the sticks after Mihalov left/whenever mihalov did not fancy playing? He was bad, really bad, you could see our defence had no faith in him at all. :o Hope we d...

Re: Will Rodgers be sacked in the morning?

I am now with the rest of you on this forum.
I have given him the benefit up to now, but it is time to bite the bullet and get things sorted. He is out of his league and his verbal clap-trap is now sending me deaf.

Re: Fall on your sword

I have just been on the club website and read BR's comments following the game at the weekend. The man is clearly deluded and his comments are completely cake and arse. I have tried to give him the benefit of the doubt but now I wonder!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Could be worse...

I was there, what a day!! I also went on the pitch after the game, I was the one sat on the centre spot looking woefully at the Directors Box. Afterwards I went to the pub and drowned my sorrows. (I think I did that quite often in those days) I have supported this club since 1981, when I moved to th...

Re: Peterborough prediction thread

I have not been able to see any games so far this season, but the lack of ability (luck?) in hitting the net is cause for concern, even if the team are actually playing as well as the reports would have me believe. Seeing is believing and all that. If our current run of poor luck continues then I ca...
