Re: A nervous couple of months ahead

No, you have consistently talked of Swansea's 16 game unbeaten run, which includes 3 cup games. You can't pick and choose which stats you like and which ones you don't. I picked out the Histon game, as it was the one that disproved your notion that you ignore cup games because they include weakened...

1-0 Reading win. Think we'll get battered for 80 mins then break away for Kebe to score in the last 10 mins.

Re: Reading Doing Croosbar Challenge On Soccer Am (20.09.08)

Think the club should hand out "PARDEW OUT" t-shirts like the one wally was wearing for the Charlton home game.

Re: Midweek games - who's happy they're back?

Best midweek game ever = Simod Cup Semi Final v Coventry. Delayed Kick off, terraces packed solid (home and away ends) ET & Pens, we win, Gilkesy takes us to Wemberlee. Happy Days. My first Reading match! Dad took me to the Spread before the game and let me have my first mouthfull of beer. Spen...

Re: What the papers say: Sheffield Wednesday

By Sean Taylor, PA Sport Kevin Doyle scored a hat-trick for the second successive Coca-Cola Championship home game as rampant Reading raced to victory against lacklustre Sheffield Wednesday at the Madejski Stadium. Republic of Ireland international Doyle, who scored three goals in the Royals' 4-2 vi...

Re: reasonable praise for our support

3-1-win at Sheffield utd away ,back in 02/03 i believe, was a good night. Had Blades complementing us after the match for our play! Also remember Stoke away when maddog came in to the stand and gave the travelling masses a pre-game pep talk. Suppose we've never had the biggest travelling support but...

Re: Transfer Deadline Predictions....

Smoking Kills Dancing Doe Selling Hunt's not the end of the world if we replace him with a player of similar quality.

Hunt's great but we know all about his short comings and he's not irreplaceable in the way Doyle would be.

Give me Hunt over Doyle any day!

Re: Who are you 'officially' bored of?

Bored of Coppell sticking with a strikeforce who dont look up to the fight. I'd rather give N Hunt and Mooney a chance

Bored of being told that theres money for new signings and not getting anyone in

Bored of Madejski - sell up and let us move on

Re: Pardew predicting tough test

We're lucky that Coppell finished off Pardew's good work. I rember at the time I felt more betrayed by Pardew's departure than I ever did at McGhee's - at least McGhee went to a club in the top flight - that I could understand. I remember thinking at the time Pardew had destroyed our chances of pro...
