Re: MATCHWATCH : Peterborough United (a)

Have they got undersoil heating? I'm 40 miles from Peterborough and it's been sub zero day and night since Monday.

From the STAR meeting:

Abrefa has a knee ligament injury and is back Dec/Jan, taking it slowly but no surgery was needed.

Tax is due this week and wages next, so we will soon find out whether or not the sale is serious and the club is indeed being funded.

Re: Rival Watch

Agree with above, looking down for now....in fact we only have to go back 2 years to find us in a similar position at this time of the season, we won at Hull just before the world cup break leaving us 10th......then a spate of injuries and an unexpected points deduction (at least when it was announc...

Re: Mark Bowen betting charges

I'm so not surprised about this. I guess he and his lawyers will be angling for what used to be called a compromise agreement. The club give him some money to save the hassle of a tribunal he might win. He accepts less than he would win, but doesn't run the risk of losing a tribunal and getting not...

Re: Bindon to be sold

Only it won't will it? I suspect it will end up like the Olise money, allowing the bastard Dai to cling onto the club even longer without bothering to sell and without putting any of his own money into the running costs. This unfortunately. I have been convinced from day one that he is destined for...

Seems an unrealistic fee for a L1 player out of contract in 6 months.

If true its a no brainer

Does anyone know the latest on this? His Linkedin profile says: Reading FC Head of Football, May 2022 - Present For some reason I though this had been changed when he first got sacked, or once you have been sacked you would go and update your Linkedin, especially if you were in the market for a new...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Stevenage (a)

Played well in the second half and really should have won that at the death. A point is a point and will happily take that. We looked so much better when Dorsett came on and showed he is a better option at LB than Garcia at this present time. Garcia's time will come however, he's a 16 year old at t...

Re: FA Cup 1st round draw Monday 14th October

Christ the whinging on social media over the scheduling of the game. We're playing Harborough Town, a team that we should be beating comfortably even with a weakened team out. Agree to an extent but as well as the 2 first team games the U21's play Sat one day before (Liverpool) and the following We...

Re: FA Cup 1st round draw Monday 14th October

The sting in the tail with this is apparently the Cambridge league game will still take place on the Tuesday so 48 hours later. That means we will play a similar side to Cheltenham in the cup. That's crap. Neither team plays until 3pm Saturday the next weekend so no reason why the Cambridge game co...
