Re: Release the Kébé

I really reckon these defensive signings are our best form of attack at the mo. Relieves our attacking players of some of their defensive duties and means the likes of Kebe can make their attacking mark on the game. Lots of analysis on how many of our players push forward when we're in possession, y...

Re: Back from the Game/pub/computer: Newcastle

Amazing!! Sat here in Newcastle Yates' after being sat with home fans during the game - i need to jump around!! Kind of reminiscent of the Everton game - we should have been 2/3 behind at HT. Cisse missed a couple really good chances, Feds was in the right place for us. Great save from that first ha...

Re: Weather Watch- Newcastle

Just arrived and not looking too bad up here! Was worse back in London but I guess all depends on snow tonight.

Also made the trip for the Sunderland game so hoping for better luck this time round! Pretty confident of a 3-4 win. Woop!

Re: RUMOUR - Iago Aspas

Would obviously be an awesome signing but can't help but feel this is a bit of a PR bid!? One for the fans to see to "show some intent" but also one that isn't actually expected to happen, considering the calibre of some of the other clubs being linked with him.

Though hopefully I'm wrong!

Re: Creative/Attacking Midfielder

Yeah would be great to see us playing prettier football! I wonder how much we're being forced to play like we are, as a result of not having the right set up within the team though? As opposed to it being the desired tactic. I think a defensive midfielder could be the best form of attack for us! We ...

Re: Creative/Attacking Midfielder

Personally I don't think it's really about individual players with Reading. We need to change our style, keep possession of the ball better....hate to say it, but the way Rodgers was trying to get the team to play. Having better players aswell helps of course............ But perhaps that's ...

Re: Creative/Attacking Midfielder

Anyone think we're signing all these defensive mids to relieve the likes of Guth and our widemen of some of their defensive duties? Seems like a pretty good plan to me - think we've got creativity in the team, only these players are currently relied upon to get back and defend for our lack of a soli...
