Re: Best ever Reading left back

Thomas L'Heureux De La Cruz.

(Mind you, that goal he scored when he started the move in our end was sublime!)

Re: Lee Hendrie on trial at Reading FC

Petulant little git of a player who I simply do not want to see in a Reading shirt.

Just what are the management playing at? He was finished as a player even before he went to Derby. Incidentally, Derby are a team who should be miles behind us, not one supplying has-beens.

Re: Skippy Isn't Soo Hot Anymore...

Your 'cons' heavily out weight the 'pros'. Sell him and give Anderson his shot. Yes, because we should base our actions on the opinions of two newbies  Oxf*rd off the pair of you. We could do that, or we could all try and create a discussion on an internet messageboard without anyone acting l...

Anyone who thinks Madjeski will spend a penny (lol) of this £6mil on a new player is sadly deluded.

Re: Madman: Your time is Uppppppppppp

Anyone who dares criticise Mr Mad is immediately denounced as a 'troll'. What the heck is wrong with this board? I agree in part, SDR. Mr Mad does need to go, but I doubt he'd respond to a fans' boycott. The dwindling attendances are sign enough that fans are fed up with the club's fall from g...

Re: Cheers Siggy

Very technically-gifted player, has bags of potential. I don't think Hoffenheim is the right club for him, but good luck nonetheless.

It's a crying shame that the ambition has been sucked out of this club.

Re: Gylfi Sigurdsson(Out)/Matty Fryatt(In)

Fryatt is a better option up front than what we have currently, but no replacement for Sigurdsson.

Re: Gylfi is leaving Reading

He has all the ability to go on to be a very good player at a high level. Obviously he would command a fair price given his age and importance to the team. I believe he will stay for the season as he said; he has been with the club since he was a young teenager after all! If (and that's a big 'if') ...

Re: Skippy Isn't Soo Hot Anymore...

Pros: He's still young for a keeper. His kicking is second to none in this division. Capable of sublime saves (which is far too often with the state of the defence at present) Can only improve with more experience. Cons: His decision-making is poor. Rarely comes to collect crosses/balls into the box...

2-0

Doyle (32)
Cisse (72)

Wolves are an average team doing well in a poor league, and it'll show.

Re: Shane Long

I agree he's not a championship player. He's a premiership player You merely saying "he's not good enough" don't make it so. Based on his goals/game, he's better than Lita and if Lita was clearly out-scoring Long on goals per game you'd be screaming it from the rooftops If he's a premiers...

Re: Shane Long

I think the best thing for Long would be to look for first team football elsewhere. He's not a championship player as he simply is not good enough to command a regular role in the first team. As someone has previously stated, he demonstrates a complete lack of ability and does not possess a football...

Re: STEPHEN HUNT - IS HIS TIME UP?

Have you been to any games this season?! His set pieces were dreadful last season, but this season they've been very good. He rarely puts in a bad cross from a corner now and we are consistently dangerous from both corners and free-kicks thanks to his excellent delivery. I am a season ticket holder...

Re: STEPHEN HUNT - IS HIS TIME UP?

My main problem with Stephen Hunt is that he has always dribbled with his head down. At this level, you just can't get away with that, and it's absolutely unforgivable in the premiership. The amount of times I've seen SHunt dispossessed because he just charges into a group of defenders, or can't se...
