Re: Middlesbrough (A) Predictions

Sean Dyche, the Watford manager, said last week in his post match comments, that their 4:0 loss to Crystal Palace, was partly down to the fact they had been on a good unbeaten run of 3 wins in 4, that their performance levels were lower than they needed to be. (So effectively saying they got cock s...

Re: Who should we sign?.

We obviously will need new players if the loan players do not sign, it looks unlikely that Griffin, ...Villi or Bertrand will start next season with us. Hooper of Scunthorpe could be the 20 goal a season player we need he is only 22 years old same age as Long and Church, but he seems a natural goal...

Re: Who should we sign?.

Griffin Khiz Bertrand 1 more centre back 1 winger Craig Mackial Smith Gary Hooper Griffin,Khiz and Bertrand NEED to stay if we are to be promoted next season. And since Ivar is leaving, one more centre back wouldn't hurt IMO. Maybe as a back up to Pearce? A winger as a back up to Kebe/McAnuff as HR...

Re: Dullest match you've ever seen Reading play in

Hard to pick out just one, But I remember a 1-0 win in the FA Cup first round win at home to Welling that was just so so boring. http://www.royals.org/matdoc/171101.html Any others that stick out in your minds? Last season, mid week against Wolves at home, we won 1-0 by an own goal scored in the fi...

Re: Muppets booing savage

Once again, cringe worthy abuse for the biggest professional on the park. Savage didn't even open his mouth all game - yet is targeted for consistent abuse, just like many moons ago. Reading fans = pathetic. Support your team and stop barracking the opposition players, especially the ones who are m...

I love the way Kebe has 2 good games and all of a sudden he's like the second coming   People have clearly forgotten this is the same Jimmy Kebe who passes the ball to the other team, try's to take on the opposition only to fall over his own feckin feet, is a poo crosse...

Re: Brendan outlines selection policy

http://www.readingfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10306~1814201,00.html I like this - shows he's always thinking about how he wants to set the team up, he knows he needs to get some more consistency with regards to team selection but also realises you have to have a plan B unlike his predecessor. Royal...

Re: Watford sell out ticket allocation - Your club needs you!

Which is why we need to support him and the club this weekend. "Back the boys and make some noise" simply isn't good enough anymore we need to be supportive from the first whistle to the last and help get some atmosphere down onto the pitch, start giving the players a home crowd to rival a...

Re: Time added on winning / equalising goals

What RFC time added on winning or equalising goals can you remember. I will start with two. Federici 95 minute equaliser versus Cardiff Boxing Day 2008. Stuart Lovell 94 minute winner versus Wolves April 1997. That Fedders goal was increadible - all I can remember was Doobs getting shite the whole ...

Re: How long has Long got?

Like Marek, Longs game hasnt suited our long ball type of play (unlike everyone else no pun intended). Lets face it, both short arses but both with quick feet and can hold the ball up well. What with the introduction of recent players I think he may struggle to get into this new team however I would...

I really hope he stays and plays, he is one of our most gifted players, and we are finally playing a system that would suit him. Good shout LoyalRoyal22. If up to now all we've been doing is playing a failing long ball game, then its no wonder Matejovsky hasnt shone as well as he is definately capa...
