Re: When was the last time you saw Reading win?

Wolves (h) Been to 20 games since then To the gobby gobshite in lower tier denouncing any criticism yesterday - I feel more than entitled to my opinion, cock. Of course you are entitled to your opinion - but do you think that it is going to help the team or the manager??! The youngsters have proabl...

Re: Post QPR: Should Rodgers remain?

Obviously, it's a misleading and selective statistic, however, it makes the pointy that Coppell has a track record that includes considerable success. Rodgers doesn't and, I would bet, never will after this episode. Considerable success that was achieved over a long period of time....!!! BR has had...

Re: Post QPR: Should Rodgers remain?

You lot seriously need to let go of this whole SSC is our saviour bollocks!! He left for a reason - because he felt that he had taken this club as far as he could - he's not coming back!!

We've still got another 6 months left of the season!!

Re: Post QPR: Should Rodgers remain?

A fitness issue for the best part of 10 games?? Well I wouldn't have dropped Ivar or O'Dea when Ivar has the experience that was needed in the back 4 and O'Dea who is clearly too good to be a Reading player!! But it looks like the defence are having a bit of a wobble now and It's all about f...

Re: Post QPR: Should Rodgers remain?

OK, so if the players he bought in weren't the players he wanted, why waste £2 million of his money on Mills? I believe that his fitness was an issue as to why he hasn't played... he couldn't keep up with the pace of the game when he first joined! I didn't go to the game last night so can't tell yo...

Re: Post QPR: Should Rodgers remain?

Royal Lady £2 million for Mills wasn't "bare bones" or a cheap option - and he's only just started playing him.

I think you will find I said that BR was given a squad that was down to the bare bones of quality and experience!!

Re: Post QPR: Should Rodgers remain?

I say he should remain! What the chairmans needs to do is - in Januray give Brendan the money he should have been given at the start of the season. Brendan was given a squad that was down to the bare bones of quality and experience. I am sure that he will agree that the players he has brought in to ...

Re: Rodgers - let us all get some perspective

No matter what we think of the management - tomorrow is a game where we have to support him and the team. The Watford fans are gonna give him grief (understament of the year!) and we don't need to give them the satisfaction that we're not happy! However.... I can see tomorrow's game being the turnin...

Re: Could be worse...

Was that match the last time we had a pitch invasion at the final whistle as a protest and not a celebration? Surely we must have protested after one of the many home defeats under Terry Bullivant? I was there, i went on the pitch at the end, against my sisters wishes as she really liked Jimmy Quin...

Re: Pathetic, pathetic, pathetic

AF said "Pathetic, pathetic, pathetic" to Tim Dellor as he was walking off the pitch - more than likely after the warm down. Mick Gooding threw his toys out of the pram by complaining that that sort of comment should be kept in house. Mick is absolutely right of course. The positive for t...

Re: BRENDAN RODGERS' BARMY ARMY!

Coppell wasn't successful in his first season ... And he had more money to play around with! Oh yeah, silly me. So we shouldn't think of Coppell when thinking who could save us and who has managed to be the most successful Reading manager EVER. All I'm saying is that steve coppell had more t...

Re: Peterborough (A) Match Thread In Association With The Posh

I doubt BR was in any way involved in the financial side of the negotiations!! Everyone knows the money problems that Watford have! I know BR made that comment - and right or wrong he stated early on in pre-season he was the one player he wanted to bring in and the tight arses that control the purse...

Re: Peterborough (A) Match Thread In Association With The Posh

He has got all the player's he wanted in and he doesn't strike me as the sort of guy who wants to play another managers players. Really.... are you sure about that??!! Tommy Smith How do we know that he didn't want to keep the likes of Murty/Duberry/Marcus etc - they were all shipped out before his...

Re: Peterborough (A) Match Thread In Association With The Posh

This was always going to happen - no matter who our manager is!!! We knew we had to sell players in order to bring players in - but apparently we were not willing to stump up enough money to get the one player (Tommy Smith) that BR actually wanted to buy - a player who could be making the difference...
