Re: Jamie Cureton

Living where I do, I see regular TV reports on Exeter City. Jamie Cureton now plays for them and has just scored his 9th goal in 11 matches. He scored 2 last night in their away win at Barnet. Great to see him still going strong at 37. Funny he has done the busines for us Colchester, Brizzle Rovers...

Eastkentroyal Roger Smee - Hit

Miss........Hit

He was a miss in his second stint as a player but a hit when he returned as Chairman.

Spot on I was wondering if somebody would pick up on his chairmanship being the hit.

Re: Roberts Red Card

mr_number Gutted. I guess they knew it wasn't going to be rescinded, and really this game doesn't mean anything, but it does just feel sad for J-Dog. I'm sure he'll get a big reception at the game anyway.

The Birmingham game might not mean anything but the first two games of next season do mean a lot.

[quote="Barry the bird boggler"]Didn't Jack Payne score about 20 goals for Bristol Rovers in one match in the 1930s?[/quo

No mate Joe Payne scored 10 goals for Luton Town against Bristol Rovers. Still a league record. Jack Payne isn't up to much in my opinion.

Sockgate

A number of ex-professionals have criticised Kebe with BBC pundit Steve Claridge concluding: “It’s disrespectful towards the opposition and to start taking the mick at that stage of the game is unecessary. “It doesn’t suprise me that it’s not an English player that has done it.” Is that a racist com...

Re: Jack Payne

As the Royals were away and Gillingham is just up the road I thought I would go to Priestfield and take a look at him. Not impressed at all really - certainly not a replacement Gylfi which is all we should be looking for in midfield at the moment. Saw a superb display from the Torquay goalie but we ...

But the Football Creditors Rule ensures we get that money ahead of all other creditors if (when...) Hull does go tits up. Why not sue them now? Into administration they go and a ten point deduction. Have Burnley paid for Bikey? Because that would be a oxf*rd, nasty thing to do - and one day it woul...

Re: Coppell vs Mcdermott......

Agreed with AP - if they give Coppell the time to build a team they'll go places. In answer to the OP, based on post Xmas performance and assuming we keep most of the team together, I think the student will beat the master next season. I wonder if any Reading players will being going down the M4 in...
