It needs Gus the teenage cow to play in the middle in a Messi type role to link the whole team together! Hang on,...

Re: The Growing Influence of Football Forums

If this is true, then going off topic, but I'd like to see footballer's wages cited in the same way as the rest of the world - ie not a paltry £10,000 a week, but a whooping £520,000 a year or the alleged £25,000 a week some our top earners were/are on as £1,300,000 a year. I believe if this happene...

oh and when it pops up in the 'post, I tweeted Jonny Fordham about it early this morning... OK not much of a scoop, just a case of reading the papers earlier than him!

Re: Best One-Liners heard at a Reading Game

Sometime in the late 80's, Mark Robson, who is on loan to us as a precocious teenager, sends over a high cross that eludes everyone (again), to which (big) Billy Whitehurst is heard by me and my mate in the Tilehurst end to scream.."what do you think I am? A fecking jack in the box!?"... I...

I live in Caversham and would love to know which area is a 'no go areas', as they seemed to have passed me by. This has confused me. - also what serious crime, other than the odd mugging?????? Apparently it had been a 11...

Re: Shane Long Interview - Mentions HNA?

Respect...... I am a convert to the 'new' Shane Long - I wasn't sure - but can't deny the proof of my own eyes - thanks Snowball.

Have always rated Kebe

And for the record - I think Cummings will mature into a decent full back - he also has that magic ingredient - pace!
