Re: Rammie the Ram

tombarlow Kinglseys shenanigans with the Royal Marines (or was it some Army chaps>) was funny also. The less said about the actual match the better.

I thought the way Kingsley took out those squaddies was exemplary. The Reading Crew should take note.

Re: The most frustrating time to be a Reading fan

The most frustrating times were in the 4th division. Travelling hours and hours on the coach to get beaten by the likes if Bury week in week out. The current position is far above what we dreamed of in those days, the problem is we have tasted glory and we want more. This is a low point but I am sur...

Re: RFC v Leicester City MATCH THREAD

I have to say I thought we looked really good tonight. I think that Rodgers must have found his best team. If we play like that (and score) every game we will be ok.

Re: Back From The Game

This was my first game of the season. Like most others I thought we looked good in the first half, but after the break we were just shambolic. The squad has been raped of 95% of the talent, Rogers doesn't seem to have a clue. Mr Mad says he wants to sell, well he wont get a buyer now....its like put...

I would like to see Senior or Kerry Dixon.

Not so sure I would want Friday, he would just not make it in the modern game due to being a junkie, a talented junkie of course.

Re: Will S. Hunt be playing in the Forest game?

This story is on the Sun website also. It says we are selling him as we need the money. Is that true? do we need the cash that badly or are we selling him as he isnt as good as he once seemed to be?

Re: Roger Smee or John Madejski?

Without Smee there woul dhave been no Madejski. Neither wanted the job, and only one was big enough to carry the burden over an extended period. Smee did the club a huge service, but had neither the cash nor the desire to extend much beyond that whereas JM has carried us forward further than we cou...

Re: What % of fans would disappear if we went down the divisions

I think I must be a Hardcore Fanny! I have followed the Royals since my dad took me in the 1960's, but hardly ever wath them live as I cant be arsed, or afford the long round trip. So I only get to the games local to me. Mind you if I still lived in reading I might baulk at the admission pri...

Re: Back from the game (genuinely) - Donny away

As I said on the bogus thread..just got back from Donny....(The joys of living in Chesterfield).....Good display, ok game. Kebe and Marek played very well, but both need to learn to shoot. Bikey looked bored for most the game, he was just far too good for the Donny front line. Marcus still can't kic...

The best part about last night apart from the three points was the bragging rights in the office today with all the Owls fans, they are fuming about being beaten by the ref etc etc. I am so enjoying myself!

Also, I had not really seen Kebe play live apart from 35 mins at Barnsley and thought the treatment he got on here wa...
