Re: BFTG - Huddersfield (A)

A Terriers fan here again not to rub salt into open wounds but just say we weren’t great by any means but some of the derogatory comments on here about our performance yesterday are unbelievable. I know football is all about opinions and thank goodness for that, however to describe your inept displ...

Re: Pauno out

I am not one for sacking managers willy nilly, but things have to change. Yesterday was embarrassing, the defence was nowhere to be seen. Upfront Puscas was just isolated, he can only hold the ball for so long. Out seeming absolute inability to pass to a team mate 5 yards away kept gifting them posi...

Re: BFTG Wednesday (A)

How big was the traveling support? We made loads more noise then the Wednesday 'massive'.

Can't wait to see them at work on Monday.

Re: Predictions: Huddersfield - Play-off Final

Wagner was on the local news up here this morning basically saying that other than Reading fans, everyone else supports Huddersfield as they are the fairy tale like Leicester last year.

Let's hope we piss them all off then.

I will be driving from Chesterfield and parking at Chalkhill school, and walking the last 10 minutes to Wembley.

Re: Where Are They Now

Sutekh Just seen in Backpass magazine that Dave Shipperley passed away in January. I remember him from a game or two around 1980. He was only 64. RIP

I was really shocked to see this. It made feel even older than I actually am when I see that he signed for us in 1979.

Re: BFTG Huddersfield

I went to this last night, what a steaming pile of dogshit. We were woeful, it appeared that we set up to not get involved or put in a tackle or even pass to a team mate. We were timewasting from the start. I wonder if Brian just told them not get too tired for the 1/4 final. If we play 100 times be...

Re: BFTG Rotherham (A)

Piazon song was the highlight.

I disagree, a rousing chorus of " your just a town full of paedo's" was a particular highlight.

The Piazon was a highlight for the length of the song though.

Re: Sheffield Wednesday (A) Prediction Thread

Just seen that it is £30 for Reading fans travelling tonight :| My full respect to those of you paying petrol money, taking time off work and then paying well over the odds (surely £25 is sufficient for second tier football FFS :?: ) and I genuinely hope we get a result that your remarkable support...

Re: Sheffield Wednesday (A) Prediction Thread

I predict that even though I live less than 15 miles from the ground I wont be dragging my arse over to pay £30 to watch.

Oh yes and we wont score.

Hopefully both predictions wont come true......

Mansfield away 79/80(?) League cup replay. I think we won 4-2. I couldn't get time off from work to go. It was the only game I missed that year.

Re: Madejski Sold out and failed again

Its clear that SJM has saved the club in the longer term, Smee in the short term. But apart from the keyboard warriors on this forum you only need to see how he is received by the crowds at away games. The reception he got a Doncaster was amazing, I don't think that many chairman would get the same ...

Re: Madejski Sold out and failed again

I believe that SJM has the interests of the club at heart and could have sold out years ago. I also believe that he is a megalomaniac given the number of things he has named after himself. But he is OUR megalomaniac and has kept the team going for years. I cant believe the some of the sh!te and bile...

Re: BFTG - Donny (a)

Agree with all the above, especially the ref he was one of the worst I have ever seen. The crowd were fantastic and it was great to see Pearce so fired up. I thought we started to look much better when we had the ball on the floor rather than the long bouts of head tennis, that we generally ended up...
