Re: Back from the Derby game.

Can anyone there fill us in on the incident with Howard? Didn't see the clash Howard was on floor in agony. Derby fans and mascot giving him the same stick we gave Dickoff earlier for his overacting. This carried on even when neck braces were being brought out. Eventually Howard was walked out to c...

Do we now need a Director of Football?

We're not buying many players these days so do we need a DoF as well as a Chief Exec?.
Why not consolidate the posts, make a saving, and use the money to fund wages for a new player?
Discuss.

Re: The Official Rodger's Soundbite Thread

Brenda creeps around the Chairman on the OS today - ' the Chairman's a great man, if you're in a lifeboat you'd want him beside you.'

SJM used to be a good financial lifeboat but he's a poor man now.

Re: The Official Rodger's Soundbite Thread

Another classic on the OS today when in the Blackpool preview it states the 'Reading chief is sure that his charges aren't far off a hot streak of form.'

I wonder what he would say if we were top of the table - he'd have no superlatives left.

Re: Blackpool Predictions

The bookies think we'll win at last ....... 5/4 Reading, 12/5 Blackpool, 12/5 the draw.
The draw looks a good bet on latest form but maybe, just maybe, we'll finally win at last. Rasiak to handle the ball, ref misses it, Church scores.

It's now official ...... as some supporters suspected they weren't fit enough (contrary to what Brenda previously said)!

Re: Arab takeover interest reported on tribalfootball.com

Interesting that in the interview that has caused todays team board melt down he talks about not being as rich as he was. Some of us have been saying that for a while. Can't decide if that makes him more desperate to sell or not. I would imagina that at the moment he'd bite the hand off a cash buye...

Re: Time to ask the Chairman.....

SJM is becoming very shy of talking to the supporters. The man who was never far away from the microphone in the good days is becoming a recluse. He and Hammond are hanging Brenda out to dry , leaving him to take all the flak for the financial decisions taken in the summer. For all the considerable ...

Re: Back from the game: It was better...

What doesn't help is that it looks as if Rasiak and Church have never been introduced to each other. There is no combination or partnership visible between the two. No cohesion whatsoever. They look like total strangers which begs the question wtf do they do in training? Surely Rodgers must realise...

Re: Rodgers Hits Out

[ Yes, it is the easiest thing to do .....that is presumably why your own team spent most of today vs Ipswich smashing long balls up to our front pairing? Don't give us this holier than thou sh*t when your team more often than not serve up ineffective long-ball crud. Fully agree. I was surpised how...

6/1 available from Victor Chandler for Brenda to be the next Championship Manager to leave his post. This could be a good bet and the price will drop at 5pm on Saturday if the current run of form continues.
Keane & Sturrock are 5/2 joint favs, Blackwell 4/1.

TD just announced on BBRB that he hopes to interview SJM before the weekend.

Get fired up for it Tim even if he threatens to withdraw your half time sandwiches. Don't let him off the hook.

Rasiak.....awful, offside more often than not, and a crap touch throughout, bargain basement and it shows...Hunt and Long are our best options up front until we fork out for some quality!! Fully agree on Rasiak; he's taller than most but doesn't jump much and wins a low percentage of balls in the a...

Wally & Dill

Not sure if this has been posted elsewhere but if not... Wally was at QPR (with Pards apparently) and gave a brief interview to BBCRB. He sounded a little disappointed that he was released in the summer along with Dill. He said the Club had previously told them that it favoured continuity but then c...

Re: Should a new keeper be a January priority?

A Fed is to RFC what Ben Foster is to Man U - not consistent enough.
Major error by the Club to let USA go thinking A Fed was an adequate replacement. Presumably Hammond made that decision, or was told by SJM to simply get rid of everyone on over £x per week and don't argue.
