You do not see many "special one" flags any more. The possibility of finishing the bottom London side in the premiership at season end must be chastening for more than a good few glory hunters.

There is if you can attract players by dint of a champions league place....mercenary,but that is the way of the world. And Spurs have something to build on,rather than looking to rebuild like a good few clubs that have been "nailed on" top four finishers in modern times.

Even though I have been a Tottenham fan for 60 years,I would rather Leicester won the title over Spurs stealing it via goal difference in the final game of the season.
