I don’t think anyone totally ITK but I do think plenty of people know snippets. If you bring these together I think most likely scenario is 1) Couhig thought it was over the line and probably went public a little too early. 2) planning issue came to light which complicates things re car park. Couhig...
I suppose there must come a point where you have to balance out losing players with the fact that you’re storing up a load of midweek fixtures. Wouldn’t surprise me if we actually play Shrewsbury to avoid a pile up
I know the rule is that you have to have 3 regular players called up in order to postpone a league one game. Bindon and Savage qualify. Not sure CBC or Tuma do? So was it Stockport who got the postponement of this weeks fixture or us? Reason I ask is that next internal weekends games look like they ...
Did this get under the line before new embargo struck. The announcement said subject to ratification as it was the weekend. I know he started on Tuesday but so do trialists
So my take as follows Wilder was about to sign but got cold feet when he realised that embargo being lifted wasn’t a sure thing Agreed to sign on basis of embargo being lifted. Will sign if no one comes in between now and then Nathan Jones lined up if above falls through Meanwhile Bowen on compassio...
I do wonder whether we should give Bowen another go as manager if we get relegated. He knows the league, our players etc, he has got a structure in place and bluntly I suspect he’d be the best option of Kia’s mates. We haven’t appointed a manager without a connection to Kia so I’d rather it be someo...
Just to be crystal clear. People speak off the record to journalists. That doesn’t prevent an on the record statement which says far less. That is what has happened here.
I think people are being naive about this. The question you need to ask is who would be speaking to journalists about this. And note they are national journalists. There is no incentive for reading to be the ones to leak this to journalists. As demonstrated by the lack of a response so far. There is...
We're already reaching the point where predictions of falling away are inaccurate simply because of points on the board. If we go at 1.4 points per game for the remainder of the season, solid mid table form, we'd end on 75 points, which is typically a play-off spot. So we'd need lower table form to...

I think 51 will be enough. With Wigan getting 12 points deduction then with 6 games left you would imagine none of bottom three will get more than 10 points. And likely that if they did others would struggle. I think it will be 3 of Luton, Wigan, hull and stoke. If reading only pick up one or zero p...
EFL rules clear on this. If Wigan finish outside of the relegation places after 46 games then the 12 point deduction is applied this season on conclusion if season. If Wigan within 11 points of 22nd team (or 12 points if worse goal difference) they go down. If more than that they stay up.
