I wouldn't worry too much. Many more performances like today's and we'll be back to far more manageable crowds soon enough.

Don't know where you got that from, I heard it's going to be £30 for all except the penalty area where the price rises to £50.

Re: The beginning of the end?

Mr. Madejski himself has admitted as much. See the Guardian article alluded to in another thread. No he didn't. He said he hoped it might attract attention in the far east, maybe a potential buyer for the club, Your implication was that we signed a sub-standard player for commercial reasons. I can'...

Re: The beginning of the end?

Buying Korean players purely to attract big money to the club... you don't perhaps think he might have been signed to boost the squad play then? It's not as if we've signed the pin-up boy of Korean football. Mr. Madejski himself has admitted as much. See the Guardian article alluded to in another t...

Do you not then include families as grass roots fans? I take your point but what I meant by that statement was that there appears to be a move away from football being a pastime available to all, and a definite move towards catering for those with significantly more cash in their pockets. This mean...

tw@t I would like to ask you to expand and entertain us with your own opinion regarding the salient points I have made. However, I fear that anything beyond a monosyllabic response would probably seriously test your literary prowess. In the mean time I'll expand on my own statement. Reading Footbal...

The beginning of the end?

Buying Korean players purely to attract big money to the club...

Charging season ticket holders to watch reserve matches...

Clearing out the "yobs" in favour of well-behaved families...

I fear for the future of the club I once loved.

Wolfbagger - are you a member of STAR? If not, why not join and volunteer to make things better? I would hardly be able to "vote with my feet" if I wasn't now would I? I've been a member for many years, however I'm beginning to realise that as the club has grown STAR's influence has waned.

Wolfbagger STAR were not doing that. Their comment was aimed at me not the issue.... As I've already said, I realise that. I just don't thing at a time like this it's approprate for a representative of STAR to making jokes about the situation whatever the context. I think a number of us are beginni...

I will renew just so I can run onto the pitch at the first game and fling my ST at JM in disgust. JM won't of course notice from his lofty perch. But the point will have been made.... See the club tremble at the thought of such a protest.... I realise that was a lighthearted response, howeve...
