Re: Dai Yongge Out

As long as he continues to surround himself with the characters he’s surrounded himself with things will never change. We’re a club run by a football agent, who puts his own interests above all else.

Re: STEVE COPPELL

Yeah the guy who was well known for hatting dealing with agents, chairmen, ceo’s Etc is defo gonna come back as DOF.

Probably should have given him the manager’s job. But I really don’t think he’d want or need the hassle.

It’s almost as if the person who signed him doesn’t give a shite about Reading FC.

Re: CONFIMRED - Charlie Adam

Who is in charge of our transfers? It’s not Gomes and most certainly is not Nigel Howe

Have we got anyone else involved?

I wonder who :?

Re: RUMOUR- Liam Moore

Hardly played football in 2 years.

Couldn't even get a look in at Bristol City last season when they were in free fall.

Do we actually scout players or just look at a list and pick from it?

Re: McDermott Sacked (AGAIN)

How's that new training ground coming btw? Could build some expensive houses on that...... All work has been stopped on the facilities. Not a good sign. Makes one wonder if the club is up for sale. Why would they go through the expense of sacking a decent manager at this level and then sell? To hav...

I don't think ALL the clubs up for sale. Too much money to be made. Can't make money from the actual ...

Re: McDermott Sacked (AGAIN)

So lets guess how many new signings this summer. I'm gonna go plus 10. All mysteriously linked to one or two agents. Be a load of loan signings again............ Yep. You can get some nice agent fees from loans. One league table we will defiantly be flying up next season. How's that new training gr...

The answer is going to be someone who signs who the board tell him to.

That will rule a few out.

Re: McDermott Sacked (AGAIN)

This club is now everything I once took pride in it not being. We'll said. Remember when we rolled our eyes at the Leeds and Charltons of this world? Now we are one of them. I was so proud of what the club achieved with the Reading way. Seeing what Coppell and Hammond built getting torn down isn't ...

Re: Bye Nicky

On BBCRB this PM, Mick Gooding made it pretty obvious that he wasn't a great fan of Hammond (although gave him credit for bringing Coppell in). According to Gooding, Hammond twice prevented him from returning to the club. If only we had someone of Gooding's character amongst our backroom staff righ...

Re: Bye Nicky

Really concerning on a lot of levels. Hammond has been such a key part of the club going back to Pardew. He and Coppell made Reading what it was at it's best both on and off the pitch. So many clubs at this level aspired to be Reading and to have their own Nick Hammond. We all know he's been approac...

The clubs a shambles.

Why aren't they giving us the exact details behind a 62 year old's sudden departure from the club?

The club wouldn't employ a stop gap. Not like Davies wasn't available.

McDermott won't have fallen out with his mate who he's known for years.

It really isn't hard to figure out

Burton is 63

Re: Welcome back Brian?

Won't be McDermott. Though getreading's story was accurate.

Club could end up in similar position to a couple of seasons back.
