Re: Team for Villa

Why are people continually putting Pearce and Guthrie in the starting 11 for games? When has Brian ever started a player that hasn't featured in the match day squad the previous game? I'd wager never. Well there's Pogrebnyak, Gunter, Shorey, McLeary for starters.... more along the lines you're talk...

Hoop Blah I'm not sure, I'm not really one for conspiracy theories so I wouldn't like to say.

I think there is more to this sentence than you are letting on.

Negative - I think the only two Royals "shinys" they have are the Guthrie and Pog "Star Signings"...

Oh the irony.

Edit: Oh and Alex Pearce "Man of the Match"

Re: Is Jimmy Kebe the greatest man that ever lived?

I've managed to convince both my sons that the Jimmy Kebe "Match Attax" card is the rarest, most valuable piece of cardboard-based collectible the modern world has ever known. My 8 year old has locked it in his cupboard and won't tell anyone where the key is. My 10 year old swapped him for...

Don't know if this has been mentioned, but Bill actually lives near my old dear on the Cricket Green in Hartley Wintney - so technically we are his big local team.

Massive :| to the post above. Obviously not been at any of the games where he's run his arse off (just not into the hoofball channels we like our strikers to occupy), headed goals against Chelsea and Fulham, won some outreageous sliding tackles on the halfway line or the cheeky back heel 'tap in' aw...

Re: How Long Will BM Last at this rate?????

To be fair it was the journalist that said that - not Brian. Brian said something about hearing "murmerings" after the game - but he could have been referring to anything - rumours about his job, Pearce, Guthrie etc... Bottom line is - I take my two kids along and it costs over £100 with p...

Re: RUMOUR - Bertrand, Clyne and Zaha

It's all very well saying "if i could see his class and potential then why couldn't RFC?", but you're not the one risking the 6M+ investment. The fans will be first to slate/forget him if he ended up in the reserves not fulfilling his potential, or god forbid suffering a career threatening...

Re: January transfer window is vital

If we're not going to spend big and Brian insists we keep faith in "his boys", then all we really need in January is a magic amulet that: Slims Fedders down to a svelte size 10 and gives him the reactions of an electrified cat. Swaps Leigertwoods asthmatic lungs for those of a young Lance ...

Re: 1st reason why McDermott should go - No Guthrie

It doesn't have to be a complete change - just an extra dimension. If we had 2-3 players capable of picking a pass (Gylfi/Sidwell/Whittingham/Guthrie/Adam/Hoolihan/Lallana) then at least its another avenue to go with when the opposition decrypt our complex tactic of Shorey lumping it over Jobis head...

Re: 1st reason why McDermott should go - No Guthrie

Loving the RTGs on here explaining the results away like we were unlucky in this match or that, Stoke/Fulham/Norwich/QPR whoever are a top 4/10/half side, that the Arsenal reserves cost x million etc. Quick question for all the RTGs who think that Saturdays result and/or performance was a decent one...

Re: Norwich Predictions

0-0 with a late goal Norwich goal ruled out.

Cue confusion on Hob Nob as to whether it was a good point under the circumstances, and/or whether our first clean sheet was a good thing.
