Re: Reading v Bradford match thread sponsored by Arsene Weng

Changed his mind from a yellow. Nothing challenge. More than a little harsh. Ref is enjoying his last big game I reckon. Definitely game killed but been a bit too easy anyway and hardly exciting. Need one more though to totally relax.

Dick Habbin's hairdo Currently at 29000 feet over the Empty Quarter on descent into Dubai.... bit presumptuous to book flights for the semi?

Re: Reading v Bradford match thread sponsored by Arsene Weng

Was going to say just before the second that, it is all relative, but class was already showing when we play the ball on the ground. Plenty of time to cock it up of course.... A third would be good, Bolton playoff in my head. :o

Bag of shite. Yes the pitch sucks but some control to try to set things up - they have more quality than us at the moment.

Re: "It evens itself out over the season"

It's obvious there will be a bias against little clubs in the PL. We haven't earns PL status yet, it's not our league. As long as that's the case it won't even itself out. This We're now a decent sized Champ club, got to start building the system, players and style to compete in the Prem (or the mi...

Re: Southampton match thread sponsored by Trevor Morley's he

what gets me is all the people who were patting themselves on the back saying how sensible we were being.....west ham and southampton spent a few quid and now will share the jackpot next season...we go down with an average squad, an admirable balance sheet and absolutely no quality or fight, being ...

Re: Southampton match thread sponsored by Trevor Morley's he

with he lack of quality and effort: Double drop anyone? Quality defo, effort ?- I think it's the only thing that got us the points we did get was spirit. Double drop - it's possible as they will also be shot of confidence at being so out of their depth for a year. We should have enough Champ player...

Re: Southampton match thread sponsored by Trevor Morley's he

We all know it and can't blame the effort. Players are just not good enough for this level, but worse is that we don't have basic keep-ball skills or a system that makes things happen rather than hoping - bit the English football disease. Clear it's a big step-up to the Prem but not sure we'll even ...

Re: Southampton match thread sponsored by Trevor Morley's he

O well, we knew we were shite, confirmed. Got to stick with trying to play football and build for the future. We look so pedestrian, they move the ball and we look like kids (and not skilful ones either). Lot of work to do!
