One question about the sending off....if that had been a home player do you think he would have been sent off? No, I don't think so either  Rotherwick, watch it in slow motion again without your blue and white specs on and then come back and tell me it wasn't a sending off !! I certainly woul...

Re: Well Done Today

You were worthy of a point and I was particularly impressed with Kitson who had an excellent game. The sending off was the right decision though, you can't go in two footed with studs showing and expect to stay on the pitch so the ref got that one right. All the best for the rest of the season. Res...

Players rarely ask to be transfer listed as this usually means giving up the right to any outstanding bonuses/signing on fees owed to them. It's not hard to work out the maths though.... Any outstanding bonuses will be minimal at the start of a season, unless there are 'loyalty' payments, which a p...

Another rehashed story with obvious inconsistencies... . So for some obscure reason we're now askingfor £6 million rather than the £8 million you told us we want and that is described as playing 'hardball'. Still no sign of Shorey being so desperate to move that he's asked for a transfer... If th...

Strengthen if you can now and hope that Coppell doesn't go down the route of only signing squad players in the summer like Pardew did because next season will be tough as teams will know how to play you.

Re: Cautionary tale, a lesson for today

Whilst enjoy a good chortle at Pardew's demise today, you really have to stop and think - what a staggeringly short-sighted decision from a board in place for a mere 3 weeks. Come to think of it, any man willing to pay 85 million pounds for West Ham United must have serious questions over his menta...

Sunday

Ian, Don't forget that we have got a tough game in Italy on Thursday night which Pardew will want to win. If the last few seasons are anything to go by, teams playing in Europe on a Thursday night don't do very well at the weekend ! Personally speaking, with the way we are playing at the moment, I w...

West Ham game

Evening lads, West Ham fan here. Congrats on your positive start to the season. The start is everything in the premiership and you definitely have a platform now to push on to secure premiership status. My only concern if I was a Reading fan is that you look a bit thin squadwise if you have a run of...
