Re: Ex Players

Jordan Obita has signed an extension at Hibernian to keep him in Edinburgh until 2026; seems to be settled in well there. Jordan Obita says his move to Hibs has been "perfect" after signing a contract extension that will keep him at the club until 2026. The 29-year-old is now eyeing a stro...

Re: #SellBeforeWeDai (to someone fit and proper)“ supporters action group

Hopefully this WILL be a piece of legislation that gets through before the dissolution of Parliament and a GE; with opposition support it should go through relatively quickly. Whether its a good thing or not depends upon your viewpoint; if you are a PL team, clearly it isn't a good thing, but I woul...

Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

Wouldn't rule it out. Exclusivity this week, deal completed in early May. Why wouldn’t players stay in a team performing well where the spirit is strong? Because of the uncertainty; if an out of contract player gets an offer from another club he may well jump at the chance to leave, rather than pot...

Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

I assume June 30th is the key date for us to hopefully know what is happening, due to player contracts and registering ourselves for next season Unfortunately I doubt any takeover will be in time to re-sign out of contract players such as Azeez and so we will likely lose them and have yet another m...

Re: Embargos, HMRC Payment defaults, non payment of wages, the usual under Dai Wrongge

I haven't seen this posted elsewhere; namely an interesting detail in the Wycombe statement from earlier today where they say they have put their purchase of the training ground "on hold" due to the planning issue. "A Wycombe statement said: "Many of the details were still to be...

Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

my concern would be that these rumoured prospective buyers only want the club at the lower price without the training ground, and the trainig ground being back in the total deal means they are no longer interested and we are back where we were, with no one looking to buy as as Dai values it all too...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Cambridge United (h)

After the week that the players have had with all the cr@p off the pitch, (and it is clearly impacting on the players and their families) to produce a performance and a result like this shows incredible character and reflects massively well on Selles and the rest of the coaching staff.

Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

Dai has decided that there isn't anyone who is going to pay him what he wants for the Club (including the ground and training ground) and so is selling off the assets piecemeal as part of a firesale to realise some value. This was also what he did with players in January. Then. the idea was to fund ...

Stranded Not sure this angle of the "foul" has been posted yet. Ouch.

That is truly terrible; the player should get a 3 match retrospective ban for clear simulation there!

Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

I really think that if anyone believes that all it needs is someone to go to DY and say "we will take RFC, the stadium and training ground off your hands for £5M; that has to be better than nothing?" they are missing the point. If that was the case, he would have sold up in November. And t...

Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

It's utterly irrational, illogical and incomprehensible to us, but not to him. He has invested a load of money and time into something, and now he wants a return on that investment. He clearly has a price below which he won't sell and literally nothing that can be done will change that fact. Whilst ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Derby County (a)

Sadly, a defeat looms; frankly, anything less than a 3-0 defeat away against a Derby side that will be in the Championship next season will be a good result tonight.

Re: Rival Watch

Nobody in the bottom 4 is looking as if they are going on a miracle late run that saves them, coupled with a total collapse by us.

The current 5 point cushion we have to the relegation spots is vital though.........

Re: Record Watch 23/24

Ipswich were leading away at Cardiff as they went into injury time; Cardiff then scored in the 95th and 100th minutes and so Ipswich can now only amass 105 points.

Another one bites the dust.

Re: Record Watch 23/24

Because we hold the record outright. My specific question was whether if two sides achieved 106 would the side with the better goal difference be considered the record holder ? I assume you aren’t a stats man. No, it's separate from the record. As the first team to do it, we'd still hold it as the ...
