Re: Racism in football (John Terry spin-off)

TFF What do England fans have against Anton?

He got racially abused and had the gall to complain about it

Re: The Manager Sack Race/Merry-go-Round 2012/2013

Venkys are absolutely mental and the madness shows no signs of abating, really is a horror story of a new owner! Anton could probably burn an effigy of Parky in the centre circle while wearing a Swindon kit and retain a higher approval rating from his own fans than them.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-21704142 A jury at the trial of a footballer accused of punching a "Good Samaritan" has been discharged because a witness cannot leave a sheep farm in Australia Weird. I do like how as soon as Henderson played for Millwall for a little bit he gets char...

Re: Gylfi Sigurdsson

Recent history tends to support this view. Doyle, Kitson etc all stagnated at best once they left here. Lessons to be learned by the players methinks. Indeed, just to highlight this, Kitson scored 22 (all comp) for Reading in 05/06. Upon leaving for Stoke, he scored 22 goals in total from 08/09 to ...

Re: England v Brazil

I know Johnson is exciting when he is marauding forward and makes good interceptions but his positional play at RB is terrible. I don't buy that Cashley is the best LB in the world (in fact he isn't even the best English LB) but his positioning and decision making on when to get forward is clearly f...

Wilshere has been the standout man so far, mazy runs with quick footwork, defence splitting balls and a physical presence

Re: Is Jimmy Kebe the greatest man that ever lived?

I've given Reading some stick this season for their inability to close out games, particularly when they have created good leads. Well, credit were credit is due. Manager Brian McDermott has been as resolute as his players. Jimmy Kebe has caused concerns both on and off the pitch this season. Howev...

Re: Capital One Cup

Villa's tactics were bloody awful, went for broke with 4 up front with half an hour to go and just lobbed it up hoping for knockdowns - amateurish stuff. Thrilled for Bradford, massively deserved.

Re: Adkins Sacked

They play Everton and the Manchester clubs in the next 4 games. Combine that with an unpopular new appointment and discord in the camp and I really don't see how this new fella (who apparently doesn't speak English) is going to hit the ground running (only 16 games left..) OH WELL. Good for us I fee...

Re: RUMOUR - Graham Dorrans

SapperBRoyal Fair one. Is he comparable to Sidwell?

Not got the tenacity or determination of Sidwell but better movement, technique and creativity. I would class Sidwell as a box-to-box man whereas Dorrans is an AM and can play on the wing.

Re: Back from the miracle

Unofficial assist to Alf for Kebe's goal; drawing the defender and dummying it. Great, intelligent play. I've looked at that a few times and still not sure whether he was dummying it or trying to get a deflection with his back leg onto it. Yep - looked to me like he was trying to do a Wellbeck I've...

Pogrebnyak. Not as good at Roberts as making it look like a free kick when he falls over.
