Re: MATCHWATCH : Preston North End (a)

Staggered we won a game... First 25 mins of Peterborough game looked like dead men walking... The manager, the players... Let's hope they feel a little bit of belief otherwise this will just be a little tease before relegation...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Blackburn Rovers (h) sponsored by Gunnarsson hitting the bar

Second half actually played quite well . . . very very different to the first half!

Re: MATCHWATCH : Blackburn Rovers (h) sponsored by Gunnarsson hitting the bar

Whole team seems to be playing 10 yards deeper than Blackburn - just letting Blackburn play. Blackburn doing the opposite and pushing up on us. Don't think the problem is anyone player just the whole team sitting back . . .

Re: Swansea predictions

Assuming we play a similar team to the City game I think we'll get at least a draw. Be nice to see ALF play this time tho and hope Pearce retains his position. 2-1 Reading, our winner in the last ten.

Re: 4-5-1 at City

The change to 4-5-1 after the fourth goal made our midfield look less like a Sunday league team. After the change it was 2-1, just a shame about the previous 4 goals. Brian cannot justify Playing 4-4-2 at City . . . . Can he? ------------Fed Cummings - Morrison -Pearce -Shorey ----- Legs -Karacan K...

Re: Arsenal: Back from the procession

So ... HKR has to start every game - only player any element of skill Ledge cannot play another game - glaciers move faster and would track back better than him We don't have the skill energy or talent to only play 2 central midfielders - 4-5-1 it has to be We actually looked slightly dangerous with...

Re: Arsenal Match Thread Sponsored by Bradford City

I actually thought we looked pretty good with 5 in midfield in the second half. We looked far more compact in defense and threatened more with jobi bursting through from midfield and with the skill of HRK and pace of mcleary. Legs has to go tho. Putting 5 in midfield was MCD admitting we were carry...

HRK. Has to play every game. So comfortable on the ball compared to the rest of the team.

'One paced' I think is the term for his change of pace. He can't move more quickly than 'jog' mode at no point will he sprint he can't!

Re: Can Leigertwood fcuk off now!

Totally agree. Way off the pace. All three goals he is stood there watching the man he should have been tracking tap it in. Every goal. If he is not dropped next game, i'm afraid I lose any faith in MCD

Re: Le Fondre

I've been thinking about Alfie. He's a phenomenal finisher, and always in the right place at the right time (eg both goals at Brighton). Is he better that Curo was in this regard? But then both goals against Southampton were completely different! The first a divine strike into the top corner in a b...
